Wonderful condo and Hosts
Posted Oct. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had the opportunity to stay in this Oceanfront condo 9/01-9/04 and loved the location, view, cleanliness, and that everything a guest might need was available ! The Host even provided soft drinks , water, and souvenirs as keepsakes for our stay on this lovely island! The Host was quick to reply to all of our questions . Hope to stay here again next year ! .

Luxury Setting-not really a luxury condo
Posted Aug. 27, 2024 on HomeAwayKing and Prince is a beautiful resort with wealthy clientele. It is set in an affluent area. This condo, while serviceable; is not a wealthy or affluent setting. The furnishings are quite dated and I don't think it has been refurbished in quite some time. Major things I noted. 1. The door sticks badly. Push REALLY hard to open. 2. There are many light switches and nobs. None are labeled. Some do nothing. Good luck in figuring out what does what. We could not regulate the ceiling fans or lights at all as I was afraid we would pull them out of the ceiling. 3. There is no place to sit if you are wet and coming from the pool or beach. Every single chair has fabric or cushions. Most are very soft and difficult to rise from (we all had bad knees or backs). 4. People have left lots of towels and beach toys. Check the closets in the hall and 2nd bedroom before buying anything. 5. There were no checkout instructions. We were not sure what to do to 'close' the condo. All that being said, the owner was very responsive to questions and had also provided a very nice small welcome package. That was a nice touch.

Since you have taken a few moments to dig deep for your complaint list, I will take a few moments to respond to them. My listing, which includes numerous photos of the condo, depicts the furnishings and decor with accuracy. If you don't like the way the condo looks in the photos, then look elsewhere. To look at the photos, rent the condo which looks exactly like the photos, and then complain about the look of the condo is rude and tacky. The door does not stick. It is a fire door as required by Georgia code. It fits tightly and is slightly heavier than a regular door by design. Having said this, I have hosted six year olds who had no trouble opening the door. As for the switches and "nobs" (most people actually spell this with a k) I don't think any sort of advanced degree is required to work them. Most ceiling fans, including mine, are turned on with a wall switch, and fan speed and lights can be adjusted with pull chains. I am fairly certain that pulling too hard on the chain will simply result in pulling the chain out of the fixture. There shouldn't be any fear of pulling the fixture down on your head. No one else is afraid of this. Perhaps you should just risk it. I bet you will be pleasantly surprised. My apologies for the furniture that is too comfortable and the overstocked toy and linen closets. And someone clearly didn't read the info packet sent to her if she thinks there are no checkout instructions. Hint - look at page 3. Keep on complaining, Mel.

Fabulous as always
Posted Aug. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayI have stayed in this condo a few times in the past and it never disappoints. It is well maintained, clean and well stocked. The welcome gifts are very nice. The views of the ocean and beach are wonderful. Ruth is very responsive. There was an issue with the building doing work on the wifi and the wifi went out. I contacted Ruth and in record time the internet provider was at the door with a new modem. The problem was quickly resolved. I am looking forward to coming back in the future.

Great location well appointed wonderful view
Posted Jun. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe’ve stayed at the king and prince before but never in the condominiums. Very pleasantly surprised. Great view, our own pool, and convenient to elevator and parking. Ruth has thought of everything in this well appointed unit. Her customer service was second to none. We will return.

Easy East Beach Getaway

Great property, great host
Posted Nov. 11, 2023 on HomeAwayThe Villa is a part of the King and Prince resort which made it super convenient for my conference. It's a very clean, spacious and well equipped house. Ruth is a terrific host to work with, very communicative and professional. The biggest highlight for this property is the amazing view of beach! Enjoy my trip and would recommend for anyone needing a nice affordable place in beautiful St. Simons Island GA.
