The door to the room as well as the exterior entrance leading to the door could use updating. The room itself could use updating/cleaning as well.

Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HotelsNice resort with a lovely pool and small private beach, but we didn’t realize they don’t provide complimentary room service so keeping the room clean was an issue as we invariably brought in some sand everyday. The drinks & snack shop by the pool has very limited hours. No service provided by the beach so it’s not really like a resort but more like an apartment-hotel, where you are on your own for everything.
The shop for guests to buy any supplies inside is expensive. Onsite restaurant was ok but overpriced as well.

We chose the Limetree because of its price, appearance, and location; close to other properties and near downtown. The beaches looked nice and the hotel updated. Upon arriving at the the hotel, the receptionist said that we were moved to another property. They said we were notified but were not. We watched as they offered another incoming guest a drink. It would have gone a long way if the receptionists had been apologetic and accommodating in any way. I read other reviews that stated similiar experiences, but I thought it was a fluke. Not so! The other property we were moved to had lower ratings and charged less per night; yet we were not given a discount. The location of the alternate hotel was isolated and the beaches were pretty gross. There were ants in the room, a leaking toilet and the room was dated. It was really far from where we wanted to be. At least management were kind at the second place.

Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HotelsDidn’t have the booking days correct. I paid in full on Hotels.com and the hotel had us checking out 2 days sooner. Got that fixed. Ended up charged another $1500 when we checked out. They don’t know really why and will look into it supposedly. Boxes and empty containers in our room when we got there. Had to ask for more towels, toilet paper, etc. The room was also much smaller than the pics on website. We had friends that stayed as well and there room was what the the website looked like and they didn’t have trash in their room upon check in.
