We stayed at the Westin last year and had an amazing time which is why we returned again this Christmas but there were some significant differences between our trip last year and this one. Couldn't get anyone to clean the room and bring towels and then they are knocking at my door at 8am to clean my room. $10 bottles of water which is fine but no ice and no ice buckets and the last day we were there there was no where to sit on the beach and they ran out of towels. The kayaks were only able to be taken out rarely and most of them were broken as well as the catamarans. The people just seemed like they didn't want to work or even be at work. Last year everything was " yes, my pleasure " and this year everything was "no". I was told I would get a room upgrade but would have to vacate the room in three days. Also the area of the beach that we hung out at last year is not accessible to Westin guests and buoy hose people only and meanwhile there was almost no one sitting there the majority of the trip until the last day. I was told several times that the hotel in now under new management and it shows. Very disappointing

Property is clean. Chocolate mouse cake was incredible. That was the highlight of my stay here. In my first day, after a l long flight from NYC, all I wanted to do was check into my room. My husband and I dragged our luggage through long corridors because we received no assistance with our bags. Come to find out, they gave us thr wrong room. Therefore, we had to drag our luggage to another part of the resort, this time with minimal assistance. On one particular day, after a long hot and sweaty day at the beach, we returned to our room to find out it wasn't cleaned or serviced. The trash was not taken care of, no clean towels, beds weren't made. Also, they nickle and dime you for every single thing. Restaurants, drinks, coffee, chips, everyrthing is OVER-PRICED. I do not recommend this hotel. Spend your time at a neaeby hotel, go to the Westin only foe rhe chocolate mouse cake. Respectfully, The Westin is Fools Gold

Room was clean. Did have a mushroom growing in the transition between the tile and shower unit. Great view and spacious room. Only one time did we hear people in the hallway whooping it up so really quiet. Pool and beach area were not crowded in the 10 days we were there.

The location of this property is really great but having a rental car helped us explore. The access to Morningstar Beach was a bonus amenity. The staff at the swim up bar was great. They are definitely doing renovations at the hotel so not everything was perfect. Most everything was very good.
