The office was hard to find. There should be a sign to let people know where the office is.

We really enjoyed staying at Sapphire Beach. We loved the beach and view. The rooms were clean and well kept. I was disappointed with the men running the bar. At times they were rude, and they over charged us for our drinks.

Upon check-in we were given room in building A which was a huge disappointment. The room and the furniture looked as though it hadn't been updated for decades. I would describe it as musty, as though nobody had occupied that room for weeks, maybe months. Also, after many attempts to use the TV, it did not work. We asked management to move us to a different room. Finally at the end of the day (after about 2 or 3 visits to the office) we were moved to a room in building B, which was a huge improvement. The room was updated, and we particularly enjoyed being right on the beach. However, one complaint about this room is that the bed was absolutely awful! I don't think the mattress has been changed for years! The beach is very nice, but since it is also a public beach it gets very crowded when the cruise ships are in port. The pool is in a beautiful location but when we were there the bar/restaurant, (not sure what it was) was under construction, so that took away from the beauty of it. The upscale restaurant was very nice, but pricey. The bar served casual food and pizza which was pretty good. The area is not walkable, so we had to pay $24 roundtrip (for 2 people) for a taxi to the grocery store which was only about 1.5 miles away.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you were not happy with the first unit and that we were able to move you to a unit more to your liking. With a room move, it sometimes takes a few hours to prepare for occupancy. Thank you for your patience while we prepared the room for you. Yours was the first complaint we received about the bed in that unit, and we will address that with the owner. Once again, thank you for you feedback.

Place was gross had bed bugs and ants coming out of the sink and power went out like 15 times and all of our food in the fridge went bad the beach was beautiful but the room was pretty gross had a good few but can’t get over all the bugs that were in there

We understand the power situation was very inconvenient. It was an island-wide issue over which we had no prior knowledge or control. When you expressed that you might want to checkout early due to the rotation of power on the island, we did, in fact, offer credit for any nights not stayed. However, you choose not to leave and you never mentioned any bugs while you were inhouse. We take bed bugs very seriously and can confirm there are none in that unit. Again, the only complaint we received from you during your 4 night stay was about the power situation.

Weather was amazing...spent lots of time relaxing at the beach! The scenery was breathtaking. We met folks from various places across the U.S....frìendly and interesting! This experience is one that enhances our book of life's memories.

Bad mattreses

All the mattresses both on the beds and fold outs were in awe full shape. Could feel the springs.
