Beautiful view to wake up too
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful week stay here. The pool definitely was a plus with everyone. We brought our daughter, her friend, our son and his wife it was so nice to each have their own private space. We had power outages daily but they had a generator so that was great, the owners were great when we had questions especially during TS Ernesto. We rented a big 4 wheel drive truck to hold everything and it was needed to get up the hills. Wr wanted a house to be away from “the city” and we didn’t mind cooking most nights. We did go out mostly for lunch. We enjoyed Root 22 and the North Grind had really good breakfast food and coffee. We would definitely recommend to anyone going to St Thomas to stay here..

You never can anticipate how hard it can hit until it’s practically right over you down there.We are glad you enjoyed yourselves down there and that the house and pool were to your liking . I know power outages were continuous during your stay and the power company there is having serious issues. We are in the process of having a brand new generator installed as these past few months have taken its toll on our system. But we are relieved that it held out during your stay. You were pleasant patient guests who took good care of our property and were great keeping us updated on storm issues. We thank you and would welcome you back anytime.

Beautiful Views!

I was very grateful for the generator which made the island power outages in the evening virtually seamless! The three separate living areas within the home would be great for friends or multiple families.

Gorgeous views

It was extremely clean, well stocked with everything needed to get our vacation started, the rooms were spacious, and the views from the deck were absolutely amazing. The villa is just as described but even more beautiful than in the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the beds were comfortable. We were thankful for the generator, which kicked on seamlessly many times during our stay due to storms. Communication was very prompt when we needed assistance. We felt very safe in the gated community and enjoyed not being in the middle of a busy town. I would definitely come back! Thank you, Mike and Carol for letting us use your beautiful home.

Great place and a Great Time!
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe view was spectacular (and that is an understatement). The place was clean, safe, and welcoming. Overall we had a great stay and amazing experience. Please note that the driveway is very steep and requires a 4 wheel drive car. In general the St Thomas requires a 4 wheel drive or high clearance vehicle! We would definitely consider renting here again! Again did I mention the view was spectacular from Sunrise to Sunset.....OMG!

Lovely property with a lovely view
Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family of three generations, ages 8 through 68, enjoyed a lovely week at Moonlight Villa. The bedrooms were perfect for two children and two adult couples. I personally could have sat on the balcony most of the week admiring the view. The kids had a blast in the pool. This is probably the cleanest property my husband and I have rented in 7 years of using VRBO. We enjoyed listening to our own music by the pool in the afternoons and evenings. The manager met us at the gate and escorted us to the villa. Then she made sure we knew how everything worked. The villa is decorated very tastefully.

Breathtaking Views - Truly Wonderful Experience
Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a very smooth and simple experience renting this home. We were greeted by a kind woman who gave us a tour and showed us the amenities. She was available during our entire stay for any questions that we as this was our first time visiting USVI. We really loved this and found this comforting.
The surrounding views of the ocean are absolutely stunning. The picturesque sunsets each night were incredibly breathtaking. This experience was a true gift.
The master bedroom is separate and across the pool from the living room and an additional bedroom with one bed in it. The pool was very clean and wonderful. Our two girls really enjoyed the pool. Although we did not utilize the lower level, there was plenty more room for more people if needed. There are beach chairs, sand toys, and some snorkeling gear that we’re ready to use and take to the beach located in a closet.
The owners are very kind and provide you with a personalized guide. They provide almost everything you need to experience a wonderful time on St. Thomas and the surrounding islands.

A wonderful week in St. Thomas

The home did really have everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, pool, beach, and relaxing. The other reviews and description are very accurate in all aspects, and it is truly an unbelievable location. The area feels very safe, and once you get used to driving some hills it’s a fun spot to be located. Anything on the island is basically 10-20 mins away but every ride had our family staring out the windows at the natural beauty of St. Thomas.
We easily settled into a daily routine of: breakfast with a view, drive to a new beach, relax in the pool, and find a beautiful restaurant for dinner. Grilling and prepping food at the villa is very easy as well. Our kids (6 and 10yo) absolutely loved the pool (they are great swimmers but be aware it's 5ft deep), and everything the hosts had around the house. They loved looking through all the photo books, watching Netflix on the TVs after a long day of sun, or reading a book on the deck.
This villa was an integral part of what our family has deemed “the best vacation ever”. Thank you to the hosts and we appreciate you sharing your home.

Spectacular and relaxing location!!
Publié le 16 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time in. St. Thomas and this property was everything we wanted it to be. The views from the deck are simply breathtaking and made for an amazing backdrop for the week. We saw multiple rainbows over the ocean! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, providing tips before the trip and connections during. We used their recommended driver Edwin (Zoom Zoom) and he was great, picking us up in an open air vehicle and taking us all around the island.
Property was clean and well stocked. We used the kitchen and the BBQ quite a bit and it worked perfectly. The rooms are very private from one another if that matters and very large.
Only a couple things to call out, the driveway is indeed very steep, and we had to walk up and down it to meet the tour vehicle. Please know that anyone with mobility issues might not be able to do so. Also - the neighborhood is very hilly (St. Thomas is a mountainous island all around) and not really walkable unless you’re in very good shape. This made the location feel a bit remote and isolated, but if that is what you’re after to “get away from it all” you will LOVE it. Just want people to know - not a criticism, this is a special place.
All around we completely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property and the hosts!

The steep windy roads of the island can be challenging for sure. But the beauty when overlooking the sights from these hills are breathtaking. Also, nIce to hear that you used Edwin. He is such a friendly kind man who knows his way around the island. I’m sure he appreciated the opportunity also.
