The property is lovely ... at least ecerything I saw on the outside. I booked this through Expedia and my husband and I were more than a little disconcerted when we arrived at the property to find it completely dessertes ... not another car or petson in site. It never dawned on me that I would have received an email the day vegore with check in instructoons (I do NOT check emails often ehen travelling). It would have been MUCH better to text me ... that I would have seen. I dio not think that it is acceptable to gave no one on site. The email said that the ice nachine and breakfast coukd be found in Cedar Lodge. I coukd NOT get into this lodge so no ice or breakfast for me ... feel a bit of a refund is in order. This had the opportunity to be a great experience but it is hard to e joy a property when there is no one on site and the phone goes unanswered.

We understand that checking emails while traveling may not always be convenient, but our communication system, as clearly outlined, ensures that guests have all necessary information well before their arrival.We also regret that you didn’t reach out to our emergency contact number, which was provided not only in the email but also in the guest room. This number is monitored 24/7, and we pride ourselves on a response time of ten minutes or less. It’s worth mentioning that we have no record of any missed calls from your stay, but we would have been more than happy to assist you had you reached out.In terms of the Cedar Lodge access, the same code provided for your room also grants access to shared spaces like the breakfast area and ice machine. This information was likewise communicated in the instructions.We’re sorry that we couldn’t meet your expectations this time and would encourage future guests to make use of the multiple communication methods we offer so that we can promptly address any issues that arise.Warm regards.

1) Would liked to have seen more seating options around the property to sit back and relax, enjoy the weather, read a book, take photos, do some journal writting, observing nature etc. Maybe Adorondack chairs or something. 2) Would be nice to have screens in the windows so can open and enjoy the fresh night air.

VERY CLEAN. No refrigerator in room. Ice maker is in another building. No shades or blinds on windows with curtains that were dark, but somewhat sheer. (When the building is one-story, you feel like everyone can see inside.)
