Excellent P.E.I. cottage stay
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall excellent stay and lots of space for our family with 5 adults and a child. The location is very convenient and close to Cavendish and North Rustico. The cottage was very clean, nice big kitchen, and good wheelchair accessibility with a ramp, wide doorways, and hardwood floors. Cottage was well stocked with linens, beach towels, kids toys and board games, washer and dryer, and most kitchen things. Don’t forget to bring your own coffee! The mattresses could use an update. Thanks for a great stay!

However, Dean was hard to get a hold of. He did not send any information about check in until he finally returned my message. This was less than 24hr before check in. Then on check in, the house had NOT been cleaned. We had to clean the house because I didn’t know if Dean was going to get back to me.After 4 of us cleaning for 2.5 hrs,Dean returned my call and had the cleaning lady come at 6:30pm. He gave us a free meal for the inconvenience but he never told us why the house was not cleaned, even though he knew we were arriving at 4pm. Dean does not reply to phone calls, emails or texts in an acceptable time. VRBO was not helpful in this situation either. Little compensation for a terrible situation and along travel day.

Could not get the fireplace going… even after talking to manager! Had to go searching for towels and the mattresses were old style spring mattresses! We left a day early and checked into 3 hotel rooms

Stunning house on a hill overlooking the ocean

Stocked with everything you need, great beds, big tub & nice firepit. We absolutely loved thid house & it was very near lots of good spots (restaurants, beaches, Anne Musuems/attractions etc) even in October when a lot of things have already closed for the season.
