Roomy and comfortable
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cottage was tucked in back of the main home, with nice woods backdrop. The beds were comfortable, AC worked well, wifi was strong, and kitchen appliances were good.
We enjoyed the front deck, bbq, and picnic table for outdoor family meals. I met and talked to the very nice lady who cleaned the properties. It is obvious she cares about your comfort.
Thank you Drew for a nice time at your place.

Wonderful stay
Publié le 26 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThere was 8 of us staying. 4 adults, 2 children ages 6 and 5, and 2 teens ages 18 and 16. We brought air mattresses to accomodate our family. There is 2 twin beds and 1 queen in the 2 bedroom cottage. The wifi works great. We brought our fire stick so we didnt watch the satalite tv. The dishes were a little dusty so i cleaned them before using. But thats not a huge issue. The bathroom is AMAZING. A stand up shower. A huge soaker tub and tones of space. I will definitely book here again. The checkin was simple and so was check out. Thrte is a fite pit and a bbq and picnic table to use. Down side. Not much for the little kids to do. No play equipment. So bring coloring supplies or games for them to do.

Publié le 5 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. It was perfect for us as we were looking for a quite time to rest and see the Island. I would strongly recommend. We had a full kitchen, and a spa like bathroom and the most comfortable bed to sleep in.

Nice accommodations, great location and hospitable owners.
Publié le 10 août 2018 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in the master cottage with one queen and two twins. The flat was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed the rural surroundings as well as the proximity to beaches, grocery stores (including seafood retailers), restaurants and other attractions. The owners were very nice, pleasant people and were very hospitable.

Not worth the price
Publié le 29 août 2017 sur HomeAwayDespite clean sheets and towels the rest of the cottage could use a thorough cleaning. The kitchen compost bucket was full, there was garbage in containers and the kitchen sink had food particles from previous guests. The host did reduce the price upon check out but we spent very little time there except to sleep. The cottage has potential to be a quiet retreat but updates,regular cleaning and maintenance are needed.

I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We failed to clean the kitchen before your arrival & I did not notice it when I showed you the cottage. We have changed our procedures to ensure this will not happen again.
I know that my apology & the adjustment to the rental rate can not make up fully for your loss of enjoyment. If I had been made aware of the issue prior to the end of your two night stay, it would have been rectified immediately. We are on site 24 hours a day and the ultimate clean up took less than 15 minutes. It is unfortunate that you had to suffer for two nights.
