Great stay

The only things to note were there were a couple in person check ins that were a bit surprising and we would have appreciated some heads up, particularly with small children around we wouldn’t have wanted them to come across strangers, so that’s our feedback on how to make the stay more comfy and why the one less star. And second note there was a hot tub listed but there wasn’t one.
All things considered it was still a great place to stay and we appreciate the hosts for sharing their home!

We had our bubble tub in the master bath listed and VRBO called it a hot tub. Sorry, that has since been deleted. As for stopping by, we do that occasionally when we are going through the yard. Sorry if it made you uncomfortable!

Annual Family Vacation

We love the spacious home and the big yards for our kids and grandchildren to experience tons of fun! The swings, sandbox, and outdoor fire pit were great additions! There was plenty of space for our large group of 21! Thanks to Jim and Twyla for being such great hosts.

Great Family Getaway
Publié le 16 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family with 8 adults and 9 children (6-16) enjoyed the backyard, front porch, and everything in between. The quiet view of the prairie is so beautiful! The State Park nearby is fun for non-motorized boating.

The Roundup Girls
Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the second time we stayed on the ranch. It is very spacious with lots of room. We had 9 adult women and we each had our own bed with lots of room and bathrooms.
It's very nice and clean and Jim and Twila are very friendly and helpful. When I sent a message to them asking for help they were very quick to answer and came quickly when we needed them.

The heated garage with a counter and tables/chairs is a bonus that gave us lots of conversation areas and lots of space to spread out. 2025 will be our third year here. Thank you to Jim and Twyla!

Incredible Location for Family time
Publié le 27 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a group of 21 staying at the Ranch house for Thanksgiving. The house was very clean and kitchen was well-stocked. The garage provided a great place for kids to play, storage of winter gear, and even cleaning of pheasants after a few hunts. The basement was full of toys and games and the kids kept very busy down there. The bunk room was a great sleeping spot for them. Jim and Twyla were extremely friendly and accommodating with an early check-in request, as well as some other extras like taking our kids on the tractor to feed the cows. This is a gorgeous setting and very close to Lake Minnewaska and Alexandria. We will definitely be returning!

Golf Trip
Publié le 18 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time and got to spend time with Jim and Twyla who gave us the history of the area. The house was great, and we had plenty of room for our group of 20 golfers. Definitely a great place and highly recommend the area for any outings.
