Great Stay!

I had a wonderful one night stay at this location. The customer service was excellent, the room and bathroom were very clean, and there was a cozy feel to the room. I especially liked that the doors to the rooms seemed to softly close rather than slam shut.

Newness is nice, but service somewhat lacking.

New hotel was nice. However, there was a nonsanitary stain on the wall when we got there, only a very few towels. The maid only emptied trash and put out a couple of towels ( no toilet or sink cleaning). She did make bed. The room is an accessible room, but the bed is too high for comfortable getting on, and we are of average height. Breakfast was good.

When I am near Starke, I like to stay at this property. The breakfast is great and Cheryl does a great job making it wonderful. Everyone is friendly and professional. The front desk staff is delightful. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are heaven. The most important thing is that I feel safe. This is a great value.

When I first arrived, the room looked great. It wasn't until later when I was going to bed that I noticed the pillows had a funky smell (the "head sweat" that everyone has). The pillows needed to be washed or at the very least, aired out on a regular basis. I did leave a message for the cleaning staff as well as the front counter when checking out. Other than that, the hotel met all my expectations and I would stay there again.
