Evan asked for check in instructions a half hour before check in and I sent them to him on the VRBO app within 10 minutes of him asking . I am going to address his lie about not getting check in instructions with VRBO. I have a time stamped communication through VRBO that shows I sent the check in instructions within 10 minutes of him asking. I addressed this with Evan, yet he posts he never got any response. This is untrue. Evan admitted he did not get the instructions because after requesting check in instructions, he proceeded to drive out of cell phone range per his own admission. The truth is that Evan did NOT request check in instructions prior to his fellow guests arriving at the house. He waited until they arrived and were in the driveway waiting to enter the house before requesting check in instructions. He blamed me for his inability to manage a simple check in process and when he contacted me he was confrontational and rude and indicated that it was my fault he drove outside cell phone range while awaiting check in instructions. I have no control over what Evan does or where he goes when he is awaiting important information on his phone. He NEVER complained or commented on any other issues while at the house and appears to be upset he was not able to get instructions that had already been sent to his phone. due to driving out of cell phone range. If you look at the other reviews for the house, it is obvious Evan is upset that he failed to properly manage a simple check in process at a VHR and he is lashing out. I am always open to feedback on ways I can keep the property the most enjoyable and best experience for any guest and encourage feed back. I will consider Evan's comments about the house and address them in an effort to make future guests experiences the best they can be.
