Lovely home

The home had a nice floor plan but the carpet was filthy, I have pictures. Broken bannister rail & the spa was dirty & unusable. Very disappointed. I do have pictures of all the flooring. We had a nice time considering but definitely need new cleaners Mark & Terri Blaylock

BAD Service, poor experience

Unfortunately, my stay in this property was bad in 1 word. It was really bad, especially for this amount of money. first of all when we checked in and came inside the property it was super hot inside, when we found the thermostat it was 84F. we tried to turn the AC but was no luck( after spending about 10 minutes we decided to call. after several calls finally they took the phone and sad that nothing can be done, there was no AC at the property and the thermostat is only to adjust the heating temperature. they sad that it sure be 3 fans for each bedroom but it was only 2. so our party 4 adults and 4 kids was sleeping with the temperature 78 at night. it was nightmare. -the cleanliness also could be better, was spider nets near the ceiling in some areas. -sauna wasn't working -hot tube had a strong smell of old water I mention that it will be family of 8 people and asked if it is enough space to sleep, they answer it will be enough. but it was only 7 sleep spaces+ air mattress (but the was no air pump to make this mattress full) so I have to sleep with one of my kid( with the temperature what I mention at the beginning. For conclusion, the property managed by small company and they are there to scam, communication is poor and not reasonable, nothing they could do. P.S. Stay away from VACASA rental. it is a lot of other properties in this area.

Felt like i was in my "home away from home". This house is perfect for family vacations and even multiple families. It easily sleept 8 people as stated, with plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was loaded with everything you may need, plus more. Hot tub was clean, hot and ready to go when we arrived. The sauna in the downstairs bathroom was amazing!!! So healing, I took at least one sauna each day we were there. Beautiful view from the outside deck. It was so quiet and peaceful drinking coffee on the deck each a.m. and having a glass of wine as we watched the sun go down in the evenings. Not really a walkable neighborhood so much but was perfect location to quickly drive down to restaurants, lake and casinos(appx 5-7 minute drive to casinos/lake). We'd spend the day at the lake, then come back to the house to shower, bbq and eat dinner, then call an uber to go down to the casinos. One of the best family vacations we've ever had!!

Lovely place for a visit

We stayed here as a chance to be in the snow and not at the prices of Tahoe. It was a great choice. The house was beautiful and perfect size for the 4 of us (2 adults, 7 and a 3 year old). The back yard was great for the kids to play in the snow, and there was lots of space inside to feel comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

Hot tub doesn't work

The biggest factor in choosing this place was the hot tub, which ended up not working.

Steven, we are disheartened to read that you experienced issues that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. We apologize for any issues you encountered with the hot tub and we shared your feedback with the local manager. They assured us that they dispatched the team to check the hot tub and it was found to be operating properly. It had power, was heating and the jets were functioning. The display indicated that the temperature was 97 degrees. We're truly sorry for your disappointment and we hope to have the chance to host you again for a truly amazing getaway.

Lake Tahoe trip

It was a beautiful home. Some of the dishes was not cleaned but overall house was good. Loved the Jacuzzi and steam bathroom.

Disappointed

I'll start with 1 positive about his house: the beds are comfortable. Other than that, there was one struggle after another. The worst part was the TV in the main family room. Like most home rentals, the TV was set up for streaming only. This wouldn't be a problem if the WiFi were better. You couldn't stream a movie without constant buffering and screen freezing for minutes at a time. The TV used Firestick. I use Firestick in my own home and I love it. This Firestick must have been one of the earliest models. Every time we wanted to watch TV, it would take up to 20 minutes to navigate the Firestick and watch live TV. It was horrible. The trash compacter was very difficult to open. We gave up and just left the door open. The kitchen isn't supplied with hot mitts or pot holders despite having a functioning oven. The kitchen is supplied with one (yes, only one) kitchen towel. After making dinner and putting dinner in the oven, I realized there were no oven mitts/pot holders. I was forced to remove my dinner with the thin kitchen towel. Unfortunately, I burned my hand. As expected, it snowed during our stay. The house also doesn't come with a snow shovel. I reached out to the property manager and I told them all about these issues. I was basically told that they don't supply oven mitts and "we strongly recommend that our guests bring a snow shovel." The listing doesn't mention the need for a snow shovel. The steep drive way was never plowed. Just another struggle. Awful stay!

Needs Renovation

This property needs work: The soap tray in the shower was broken, the Br screen had a hole and the sides were taped up, the kitchen counter edging was coming off, the dining room and bedroom deck doors had dry rot on the bottom, the den had missing trim, the entrance boot alcove had broken floor tile. It also needed a deep clean: the oven needed cleaning and so with the rugs. In fact they should not have white rugs in a vacation rental. Vacasa was difficult to deal with. I contacted them several times about getting the door code prior to the morning of check in (we were traveling and in the car the entire day) but they kept saying that they could only give me the code on the morning of check-in. They could not think outside their script. In the end I did get the code the night before. I contacted them about the broken soap ledge (sharp edges) and they would send someone to fix it, but never did. Be aware that the property has lots of stairs. Beyond that, it is nicely decorated and the bedroom deck has awesome mountain views. There is also a nice sitting area behind the house, further up the mountain.
