Great location and beautiful home!

Family fun getaway
Posted May 22, 2024 on HomeAwayWe needed an interesting place to visit that was not a big city. We wanted a nice relaxing environment. St Genevieve and the 1801 House met our expectations. The hosts thought of everything their guests would need. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. I will recommend this property to others.

Beautiful home

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It added to the beautiful occasion we came to the area for ☺️

Posted May 17, 2024 on HomeAwaySo clean. All furniture and bedding very comfortable. Extra special treat upon arrival from Pats Pastry. Short walk to historic area. Old feel with modern conveniences. Definitely would go back again.

Trolley for wineries picked us up right in front of the house. Walked to restaurants and shops. Beautiful home and beautiful neighborhood. Thank you would love to stay again!

Beautiful home for quick family getaway
Posted Apr. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayThe 1801 House is lovely—boasting a gourmet kitchen, great front porch, and a nice backyard replete with a table and chairs under a gazebo. The home is very clean and comfortable and there are many thoughtful touches throughout. Communication with the host was excellent. We enjoyed our stay!

Posted Oct. 16, 2023 on HomeAwayThis renovated old home is so comfortable. It has everything you need for pleasant stay. Walking distance to historical downtown. The only slight negative is the traffic. If you are there during the week, the school traffic is terrible. No late sleeping! We are early risers so it really didn’t bother us too much. Would stay there again!

Awesome place
Posted Oct. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayWe rented this house for a girls weekend and had a great time! This property is exactly as listed. It was clean, check in/out was easy, patio area was great for outside visiting and the house was decorated so cute. The hosts were very easy to work with and actually had 4 individual cakes waiting for us when we arrived. There were four of us and we were very comfortable and all agreed we would rent the property again. You will be pleased if you rent this property.
