Cabin is basic, beds not so comfortable. Hot tub was dirty, filters were plugged and cabin was not as clean as i would expect considering the cleaning fee. Owners dog deficated along walk way before we arrived and was left. Also deficated again the next morning in front of our cabin of cabin doorrigocabiall

Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was nice and quiet. The hosts were friendly and helpful and let us have out privacy. The grill needs to be replaced, the cookware was mismatched and the skillets need to be replaced. Screen over the kitchen needs to be replaced as there wasn’t one and we couldn’t open the window for ventilation. Overall with a few upgrades it’s a cute little cabin and we enjoyed our stay.

Publié le 8 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat a fun experience! The cabin was super cozy; warm and inviting. We felt right at home! Our pups were welcome and right at home, too. The ranch was gorgeous with really sweet cattle - our pups had a blast watching them. The hosts were unbelievably kind, friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Great location; peaceful; beautiful and quiet. We will definitely go back!!

Rarely saw the hosts and when we did they were warm and welcoming. Our puppy wandered the property and was greeted by neighboring farm dogs. Close enough to Steamboat to grab a bite to eat yet far enough to use as an excuse to leave a social event early. Don’t stay at the resorts. Stay here.

SBT GRVL Stay

the location offered beautiful star gazing and a quiet country surrounding us! It was also neat that we were on part of the SBT GRVL course.

Not what we expected
Publié le 14 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived we were told the Hot Tub "didn't really work" due to a cover issue and that we probably wouldn't need it because they were in drought. Having a hot tub was the main reason for choosing this place. The grill looked like it could fall over at any moment, and the grass was knee high in the parking area and the patio had grass growing between the bricks. Needless to say, we didn't spend much time there.

Rustic Bunkhouse
Publié le 20 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery rustic cabin 9-miles west of town (we wanted this!) Management company unpleasant to talk with, owner lives on site and is very friendly whenever I knocked. Hot tub was hot but only 2/3 full. No hose due to being winter, owner offered to drop a bucket later that I might fill the tub, it never arrived. Mice had moved in, we saw them running back and forth the first & second days (it's a working ranch). They ate a protein bar through the wrapper that night (waking my wife). Jumped out of my wife's coat when she pulled it off the coat rack 3rd morning, blood curdling shriek, gave me the willies. Enough. Asked owner for traps, was told that she had never seen mice in the cabin before, proceeded to the correct drawer and handed me 5 well used (gross) mouse traps (one was broken). Trapped two mice while snowboarding, didn't see any more. Dozens of dead flies on window sills. Dishes dirty, no dishwasher. Linens old, but serviceable. Carpet ancient everywhere, crispy and emanating the smell of mildew by the head of the bed. Cabin poorly insulated, heater exceptionally loud and running 50% or the time. Walkway icy and snow covered. Dog poop throughout the parking area and around hot tub. Wifi spotty, do not plan anything beyond surfing. The description of the property is very accurate, pay attention to the caveats, they are there for a reason.
I hate leaving negative reviews, this one is necessary.
Summer is probably okay, winter not recommended.
