Run Rabbit Run
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife, 30-year-old son and I came to Steamboat Springs for him to run the 100 mile run rabbit run ultra marathon. This condo was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped, and the pool and hot tub were just outside the back door which we enjoyed during our stay.
Best of all it was a five minute walk to the start and finish line of the race.

Great place with a bad check in process

Only downside was the after hours check in process. You have to call security guard to drive to you and deliver the key. And the front desk had my reservation under the wrong name. After flying to Denver and driving to SB, we arrived around 10 pm, and it took about 30 minutes to get the key.
The security guard was very friendly, but the process could use some improvement.

Thanks for the feedback, we are looking into other options to avoid that situation in the future. Also, the check in guide states in BOLD that if you are arriving after desk hours to call so they can put the keys in the garage so you can avoid having to wait for security.

Amazing location!
Publié le 4 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely time. I hadn't realized the parking permits would be so limited-- we had three cars, and so had to park one off the property. Only two mild criticisms--the washing machine leaks onto the carpet, which should be fixed, and the non-stick pans are all scratched up, which is not super safe. But it couldn't be closer to the resort-- we were mountain biking and loved that we could just ride our bikes straight to the park.

Thank you for the feedback, we will be addressing the washer issue right away and replacing pans. It does state that 2 cars are permitted, and most of the time parking is available, but there are a few weekends when parking gets tight. Our apologies on the issues and we are glad you enjoyed your time there.

Great Location And Space
Publié le 1 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for spring break. The location is very close to the lifts -- you can walk there. There are also some restaurants within walking distance. The condo was spacious. My family of 5 slept comfortably. We parked in the attached garage and stored our ski gear there. You can also park in the outside covered spaces. The appliances are a bit old and the toaster didn't work on one side. But all in all it was a great place.

Crowded

The carpet is frayed; the kitchen is a mess; single serve coffee maker and toaster are broken; there is too much over sized thrift store furniture; the sliding door to the outside does not lock; the base board heaters in the master bath is falling apart. But if convenient walking distance to the gondola is your primary goal -this is your place.

I am sorry to hear that you had issues with our condo. It would be nice to have heard from you while you were there so we could have got someone over to take a look. You rated low for communication, but you never contacted me or the local manager even once. The carpet is only a year old, maybe we have some wear and tear somewhere to take a look at? Kitchen "a mess"? Not sure what you mean, we have impeccable cleaners. Keurig and toaster were working the week before, and 2 more guests have been there and not mentioned anything, do you know how to use them? Same for the slider. I'm sorry you don't like our comfortable couch, I guess people will have to judge for themselves by the pictures wether they are "over sized," but they are certainly not from a "thrift store." During the peak of the busy season we try to keep up on day to day maintenance the best we can, but we can only fix what we know about. I stand by our dozens of 9 and 10 star ratings, especially for cleanliness and communication, and would recommend this review be taken with a grain of salt. But make no mistake, you are not welcome back.

Great location
Publié le 21 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery happy with how quick and easy it was to get to the mountain. Free shuttle was great. Also took advantage of the garage, heated pool, and hot tubs. Was very happy with the rooms as well, clean and cozy.
