Each unit has a lot of space and many beds, good for a large group or family. Freezers outside each unit were a big help for us, with 30 lbs of fish to keep frozen.

Nice host.

Lots of beds (10) in Bears unit. Nice host. Roma have funny smell. Nice small public beach within walking distance where people were fishing for salmon.

Rethink your options!

It was terrible. We got there and nobody was around. Finally got in touch with the owner and she gave us a code to get in. It was a mess and had not been cleaned since the last guest left. She gave us another code for another unit and it was equally as bad. She was out of the country and didn't know where the cleaning person was. We opted to not stay there. The bonus was that we found a super nice hotel on the Kenai river.

Nice place to stay

Publié le 18 août 2015 sur Hotels
House was nice and clean. The only complaint I could mention would be that the couch cushions on the left side were nearly non existent when you sit down. The can opener was missing also which was a challenge to work past. I will stay again next time I come back to Alaska

More of a hunting cabin

Publié le 19 juill. 2015 sur Expedia
The site was full of containers and what looked like garbage. Most cabines we saw on other sites across yukon and alaska where well maintained and very nice sites. The beige sofa is cabin was rather dirty so gave impression that balance of,cottage was dirty. The horizontal blinds were dirty. In upstairs toilet there was something in the bottom so we do not think it was washed prior to arrival. Kitchen and showers did look clean but again confidence wasn't there because of first impression.

cabins in soldotna area

Publié le 16 juill. 2015 sur Hotels
Great place! Cabin had 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, for less than a tiny hotel room in the area. The river is across the street and public fishing access a half a block away. Folks catching salmon well there in mid July when we were there. Full kitchen facilities too and cable tv in living room. An unbeatable value.

Very minimalistic. Old furniture-uncomfortable. Beds were fine, but I didn't really care for flannel sheets in July. Frenchy is very nice, very accommodating.
