Disappointing overall

When we arrived it was 81 degrees in the house. The thermostat was controlled remotely and clearly the A/C wasn't turned on until just before we arrived (on a very hot August day). There was no written information anywhere for the house, and we didn't get the WiFi password until the 2nd morning, right before we left. Additionally, the bedrooms all have external numerical locks and unique codes to unlock them. This information also was not listed anywhere, and we accidentally locked ourselves out of a bedroom. It was hours later that the host replied with the codes for the bedrooms. Overall the information from the host was delayed and incomplete. The house itself was fine. We knew the neighborhood wasn't particularly nice and figured the house would be old. It took forever for the Air Conditioning to cool down the house, so those that stayed in the 4 upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm the first night.

Omg where do I start?!? Okay here we go...I thought we where pulling up to an abandon house EVERYTHING was overgrown and unkempt, When you first walking in the front door the light fixture is hanging by the wires. The washroom was filthy, it was dirty spider webs hanging everywhere and the kitchen floor was dirty aswell. On to the second floor as you walk up the stairs the walls were dirty, the first bedroom on the second floor had a huge stain on the wall of some sort and it was stains on the walls in the other rooms but not as bad. It was a weird smell coming from the basement. The bed where super comfy (we where scared to lay in the beds because of the house wasn't clean)and the house was big enough to accommodate my large family. Deep clean needed!!

Certainly a home away from home. All the necessities and then some, never slept in more comfortable beds! There were one set of neighbors that were worrisome domestically but otherwise very pleased with stay!

We enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving at Ricardo's house. It needs a little care but it was perfect for what we needed, thank you!

Place was trashed

The puke covered walls are about to fall down. The house was dirty everywhere. My wife lost her appetite trying to eat her favorite food due to the grime everywhere. This place was throughly misrepresented. Not a safe place to stay with kids. If you wanted to have a frat party that would be more of the scene. That way you’re at least too intoxicated to notice how horribly kept this place is. Property manager was rude and has no morals.

The house needs renovations. It was hot inside when we arrived, the A/C is not working properly it took one day to feel more comfortable. It’s quite neighborhood. The owner is accommodating, communicates promptly. The house is close to Franciscan University and will come back here to stay for conference.

Weekend stay

While the house was as listed. The cleanliness was not. The floors were dirty and sticky, there was wet smelly dishes in the dishwasher, hairs in the shower, and all of the towels were dirty upon arrival. The renter needs to hire a new cleaning crew as their current one does not ensure the property is clean and sanitary.
