Wonderful little getaway!

We appreciated the host being able to accommodate us an earlier check in and later check out time to maximize our short time away. They only charged us a small fee. The place was clean. So clean that I didn't feel I needed to wipe anything down, which is usually the case when we go to other places. The view was stunning and we had nice weather. We loved being able to walk out onto the dock as well as sit out on the deck. There was a large group of people staying in the home next door that were loud when outside, but that was the only thing that disrupted our tranquil location. We appreciated just being able to sit on the couch and watch TV or sit outside and read. It was all quite perfect, and we are still reminiscing of our time here.

Peaceful getaway
Publié le 12 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe needed to de-stress and this bay-side home gave us all the peace and quiet we needed. It sits on a huge grassy lawn that slopes down to a dock. Geese and osprey kept us company, while motor noise was almost non-existent. It is still close to many amenities and historic towns, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
There were a few things that needed attention, and Julie, the property manager, responded right away with great courtesy. We loved our stay.

Beautiful location!
Publié le 12 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe view was beautiful! We stayed in March and it was too windy and cold to fish but we enjoyed the cottage and location. Food Lion, Target and Starbucks were close. We ate at the cottage but there is a Cracker Barrel and other restaurants a short drive away. We had geese and deer in the yard everyday. Nice vacation spot!
