Pleasant local eatery was the Royal, superb Bobotie in particular and all at very good prices... avoiding rough gravel roads getting to and from Staytlerville may force long diversions if your car is a regular rental saloon. So check your route in advance and as long as you are prepared for the extra driving, or are confident in your car's resistance to the wear and tear, a stay at the Villa will be well worthwhile.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. It sadness me that you did not find the room as comfortable as other guests and that the condition of the guest house did not meet your standards. As the new owner, I still have a lot of plans for the quest house, but Rome was not built in one day (that's what my friends and family tell me) and hopefully we soon will have air conditioning as well as TV's in the rooms. The guest house is one of the historic buildings in town (over 100 years old) and therefore the condition may never be quite the same as a newly built one, but that makes it so much more unique.
