Perfection at the Beach

The space is amazing- the bedrooms with ensuites, and the little bedroom downstairs were perfect for our family. Everyone had space and comfort. The indoor living space and kitchen worked very well for cooking, socializing and relaxing. The outdoor space was gorgeous-garden, fire area, small balcony and large balcony, BBQ grill, and hot tub were all wonderful. Lastly, the location is perfect too! A quick walk down the Calle to the beach, or a quick walk to the library, market, or restaurants, all a 5-7 minute walk via the beach or road. Everyone felt very much at home. Thank you Don for a great stay!

A perfect spot for a big family gathering
Publié le 16 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had an 80th birthday celebration with 4 generations in Don's home. He was the best landlord--attentive, responsive and available. The kitchen is well stocked and there are multiple types of sleeping areas in addition to the bedrooms. The washer and dryer were handy, though we brought our own laundry soap. The solar power and floor heating is impressive, the hot tub well cared for and the BBQ's well maintained. The kitchen cabinets are rather worn and there is a loud droning noise that started each evening from about 10PM to 11:30, not sure if that was the Tesla batteries recharging or what. Overall it was a fabulous house to have, walking distance to the waves, Parkside restaurant and town. thank you Don!

Wonderful Stay - Just as Described and Pictured

The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean, and very welcoming and comfortable. I stayed here with 9 friends for a few days and then family, including little ones, arrived for a couple days. The house worked well for adults and children.
The host was easy to work with; good communication.

Family Celebration
Publié le 1 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location … close to the beach and to town. Plenty of beds and sleeper sofas. Really comfy gathering space for old and young. Clean finishes and easy to keep neat. Outdoor showers were great. We were there with our four daughters and their husbands along with 7 grands (8-18) and 2 small dogs. We all loved it!!!! Thank you!

The Coop remains available as the best place for large family gatherings in the neighborhood. Plenty of parking and capacity for Joy!

Great House,

The house is very comfortable, plenty of beds for the group and the kitchen was well stocked. Something you don't often see in rented properties. Don, the owner, was very easy to contact and responsive to our questions and comments.
We would do it again!.

Dynamite beach spot
Publié le 3 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Coop was an incredible stay! It is spacious, clean, and full of amenities. Location couldn’t be better—it’s a one-minute walk to the beach. You can also walk to the shops and restaurants in 5 minutes. It was in a quiet neighborhood.
We particularly enjoyed the sound system in the communal areas and outside; the variety of seating inside and outside; the updated bathrooms and kitchen; and the event-friendliness of the rental. We hosted 30 people for an afternoon event, and it was perfect.
Don was a great host. He always responded immediately to our texts.
Overall, it was amazing! We highly recommend staying here!!

Couldn't be more perfect!

The house is beautiful and comfortable, with room for 19 friends and family members to gather for a big birthday celebration (plus another 10 joining us for the evening). Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to be together as a group, and lots of nooks for people to get time away from the group if they want to. I would stay here again any time, even if it wasn't three houses from the beach ... but that makes it all the more special. We loved hearing the ocean as we sat around the fire pit and walking down to the beach for sunrise and sunset. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped, and you won't find a more easygoing, responsive host than Don.

Perfect, spacious beach house
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is an enormous place; unfortunately we couldn’t get a big group together this time. Short walk to the beach or shopping. Super quiet. Works well even in cold weather with a hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and gas fireplace indoors. Friendly and helpful owner.

Nice location

The beach at the end of the street is the dogs allowed section and there were a lot of dogs, so we had to walk further south to avoid that mess. Listing says 6 bedrooms but some rooms are not private, they are a three-way to get to other rooms f the house, and they don’t have actual beds, just pull out sofas. Beds is all rooms were very firm mattresses. Kitchen, dining and living area is small, would not suggest having more than the 11 people we had Although it says sleeps 20. Can’t imagine that May people in the space. The patio was nice with a BBG and propane fire pit, but all the propane tanks were empty so we had to take the tank from the fire pit to use on the BBQ. Overall a bit disappointing for the amount of money we paid.
