Excellent place in the middle of Sterling
Excellent restaurant and hotel right in the middle of Sterling. Restaurant was good, room was large and comfortable, and location was convenient for everything we wanted to see.

Das Hotel ist schon recht in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr am neuesten Stand. Unser Zimmer war leider nicht sauber und wir hatten im Bad viele lange schwarze Haare liegen, als wir angekommen sind. Es gingen auch nicht alle Lampen und flackerten teilweise. Das Hotel ist direkt neben einem großen Kreisverkehr und gegenüber einem Fitnessstudio. Positiv anmerken möchte ich das freundliche Personal und das reichhaltige Frühstück. Das Full Scottish Breakfast ist nichts für schwache Nerven :-) Aber ausgesprochen köstlich!

The property was an unexpected gem. The thoughts of being part of a restaurant and bar was a little questionable but the accommodations were fabulous and the onsite parking was a plus. Also, if you’re in decent shape, the walk to Stirling Castle is absolutely doable. The only reason condition and facilities as well as around the property got 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was a little dated and it was right off a busy thoroughfare. Otherwise, we had a fabulous stay with the staff being fantastic.

We arrived early to drop off our bags and decided to have breakfast before heading out for the day, the breakfast menu looked great and I was delighted as we would be able to enjoy a good breakfast each day. Our 1st morning after staying we received a different menu with less options, both mornings I ordered poached eggs with Bloomer bread, 1st morning I got sliced brown second morning sliced white and a cold piece of bacon. The stay itself was ok, location excellent, rooms are clean but radiators needed cleaned especially in bathroom. Also hairs on bottom of bathroom walls and in the corners of bathroom floor. Bed Linen and towels spotless. It was just silly things that let the stay down. The staff are fantastic so friendly from waiting staff to housekeeping all are wonderful.

Lovely overnight stay
We just did an overnight stay here. Staff was extremely friendly. Room was great spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant was great. Private parking in the rear. The only small downside was it is in the center of town on a busy roundabout and was a little noisy into the late hours.

Decent value
Located on the second floor of the restaurant, the room was spacious, but furniture and carpet show signs of ware. Bed was a double with adequate level bedding. The sink and shower were slow to drain, but water pressure was great. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The value for what I got was decent because it included breakfast in the morning.

Fletchers is within easy walking distance to the Stirling City Centre . My wife and I had a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and windows on 2 sides. We were there 5 nights. But as we were visiting family we only dined there once in the evening, The menu was comprehensive imaginative and reasonably priced. Our breakfast was full and well cooked. The relatively new management have plans to further improve the property. Service was excellent and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at Fletchers when we visit Stirling again.
