Seemed like it may have just been unfortunate timing. The hotel was undergoing renovations which meant a lot of the facilities were closed down (pool, jacuzzi, fitness center). The beds weren't comfortable in the room, the tub in the bathroom didn't seem to be installed properly it kept shifting under foot. The elevators weren't operable luckily we were on the 2nd floor. If I was aware of the conditions I most likely would have booked the hotel across the street instead. I wasn't informed of any of it ahead of time since I booked via Expedia. I guess I should have read the recent reviews. The breakfast was decent at least and the staff we interacted with were nice.

Hi Steve, I am sorry you had a poor experience with your stay in terms of amenities being closed. We are doing a facelift to our hotel and are very excited to be getting brand new rooms and public areas. Unfortunately in order to do that we have had to put the items out of service until they can remodel them. I wish there was another way around it. We have the temporary closures listed under the amenities area of the Expedia listing; I am sorry you missed it. I am glad our team took good care of you, and you enjoyed our free hot breakfast. Very convenient location.
Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HotelsIt was under renovation when I stayed, but that means when it’s done the hotel will be improved. It was kind of odd construction workers were still working at 8 pm, but they didn’t make much noise so all good. It’s a good exit to chose off I-5. The hotel is right next to the on and off ramps so it’s easy to get back on the road in the morning, but did not hear freeway traffic at all. Plenty of gas stations and restaurants right around the hotel. There’s a strip mall that has Sushi, Chinese, Mexican, and Pizza that is next door you can walk to. Great convenient location. The hotel room was comfortable and clean.

Thank you for your review! Our first newly renovated room are now open!! We are so excited; they are so beautiful! Anyone that books now will be in those rooms. We are hoping to have the other floors ready in the next 4 weeks. The team has been super nice and only doing noisy work between 8:30-4. I am glad you enjoyed your stay! While it was undergoing construction during our stay, the property was clean and the staff clearly communicated the short term limitations. There wasn’t easily walkable options near the property, but multiple eating and shopping options were a 10-15 minute drive away.

Hi Paul, thank you for staying at our hotel. We are remodelling our rooms and painting the exterior of our hotel and are so excited to have new rooms and public spaces. The temporary closures of the pool and some other public spaces are communicated in the amenities area of Expedia, I am sorry you missed it. Please do stop in at the front desk so we can assist you with dining recommendations. There are quick service restaurants all around our building, as well as a large food truck plaza with seating right next door to us. Undergoing Major Upgrade
Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel was undergoing a major upgrade which was not disclosed when we made the reservation. We "Got what we Paid for". The rooms need lots more outlets for iPhone and iPad input.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback! Yes, our hotel is going through a remodel and we are so excited to be getting brand new rooms and public spaces as well as exterior paint and patio. Unfortunately, we do need to temporarily close off spaces such as the pool etc so we can allow the workers to safely complete the work. We do work during the hours of 8:30-4pm so not to disturb anyone that is back from work at the hotel for rest in the evenings. I hope that you found our hotel to be clean and orderly during your stay despite the work being done. Please do come back and stay with us again soon so we can show off our new rooms.
