Inaccurate discription
Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThere was a bit of confusion over booking an extra night but I honestly do feel as though that was a miscommunication.
Unfortunately, the ad stated it was wheelchair accessible which it is not. I have mobility issues and this is not the place for that. Steep driveway, stones loose walking to the front door, and steep stairs outside.
The house was advertised as having a washing machine which it did not have. I have a toddler and it made the trip so intensely stressful. We had to rent a car - something we weren’t going to do since we were in walking distance of restaurants, a library, and a cafe.
Lastly, it was advertised as having a fenced yard. This also was not the case and the front yard is on an extremely busy road. This again, was difficult with a toddler.
We had to end our trip early to find a place with these ammenities. It made everything more stressful and expensive- two things you don’t want a getaway to result in.

What a sweet place!
Publié le 13 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in this comfortable, relaxing space. I wish we were there for more than one night. The instructions for the fireplace are actually on a metal plate under the unit and is not controlled by the thermostat as mentioned in the welcome message. The heater in the living area was a little loud.
