Country retreat

I appreciated the supply of coffee pods because I didn’t know what kind of coffee maker would be there. The area is lovely & uncrowded, which made it a perfect escape for us.

Yearly family boating trip

We have family come in town from as far away as Wisconsin to get together for the weekend. This cabin was everything as described and more. The entire group had such a great time and a few even set up tents on the property. Would highly recommend this property for a family retreat or even a couples getaway. Also, Katie, the property owner, was so helpful and accommodating. Thank you, Katie.

We fell in love with this property. It had everything we needed, inside and out. So comfortable and clean. Played corn hole in the backyard while we grilled, read books on the hammock, watched old Nic Cage movies. Truly magical. We already want to come back. Rented a pontoon from Indian creek Marina and the lake is wonderful. Katie was quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you so much!

The perfect little spot
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and it was perfect. We had trouble finding the place but I point the blame on our GPS. Once we arrived we fell in love right away. It is secluded and private and quiet and that is exactly what we were looking for. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. Even though we did not use it, we were surprised to see wood, lighter fluid, and all the other needs for a small campfire. We have been to other places and this is usually up to the renter to obtain. The bed was super comfy and the UGG comforter was awesome! My wife and I bought the exact same comforter for at home we were so pleased with it. We contacted the owner a few times and received quick responses. If we ever venture out to the Hannibal area again we will definitely book this cabin again without looking at any other place. I would highly highly recommend staying here.
