Welcome to Bluegrass in the Mountains, a comfortable, spacious 3 bedroom townhouse in the heart of Stowe Village.
Ski, mountain bike, hike, shop, eat! Enjoy the season.. and stay in this home in a great village location. 3 bedroom, 3.5 baths
The townhouse is on Depot Street, behind the Green Mountain Inn. The house 3,200 square foot, 3 bedroom home that sleeps 8 to 10. It has been carefully decorated with a combination of antique and contemporary furnishings and lots of art from Vermont and Kentucky artists.

The townhouse has two king suites on the top floor, a 1000 square foot living area on the main floor and a 1000 square foot master suite at street level.

The Master King suite has a large living area, a walk-in closet, private bath with jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
The Second King suite on the top floor has a private bath and a large closet.

The huge bedroom suite at street level has a king bed and two twin beds. This bedroom also has a living area. Furnished with mix of modern and traditional furnishings. This level opens onto a small yard facing Depot Street. A full bath and a separate laundry room are on this level.

The main living area features a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large dining table that seats 8, a full size living room, with smart TV, with cable. The main living area also features a half bath. There is pullout sofa on this floor.

The entire home is designed to make it's guests comfortable and to provide a unique 'Stowe Vermont', feel and relaxing atmosphere to rest during your visit.

You will find paintings by vermont artists 'Walton Blodgett' and 'Kathryn Monstreem'. Throughout the Main living area are floor and table lamps by the Vermont lamp company Hubbardton Forge. A custom bed, hand made by Doug Clarner, a vermont artist, is in the second bedroom on the top floor.

There are not enough synonyms for fantastic in the dictionary to describe or attest to how wonderful this property is. The townhouse is not a vacation condo, it is a home that the Clare's let you visit and share with them. The house space and configuration allow families to spend great time together but then also allows for time alone even with large groups of people. Waking up in the master suite and turning on the fireplace and opening the curtains to a vista of snow covered beauty was more than I could have asked for. Every convenience has been provided. My family and I will be back

This condo is exquisite. We all agreed that this place was perfect for our visit to Stowe. We loved being able to sit comfortably together and chat at the dining table or in the living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. It was really a treat for us to stay here.

Perfect Location for a Stowe vacation

We visit Stowe annually in the summer and have stayed in many different inns, condos and houses over the years. We chose this townhome in order to have space for extended family to visit for a duel birthday celebration.Excellent location in the town proper, on a quiet street. Perfect spot to be able to walk to stores and restaurants. A short bike ride to the wonderful Stowe bike / walking path or the Swimming Hole pool and gym. Easy access by car to nearby hiking, tennis and other outdoor activities.The host was very responsive when needed and the property met our needs for the week. Added bonus was a selection of bikes and bike helmets to use and not have to worry about renting them. There is a small, grassy yard looking out onto the Main Street that can be easily accessed from the lower level of this three level property - would suggest the hosts purchase some inexpensive lightweight folding chairs to be used outside - the 4 of us would have certainly had a glass of wine in the evenings there.

Stowe is a pretty village. But there is nothing going on. Seriously. The entire village shuts down beginning around 6 PM. The main bar shuts down at eight.there are other restaurants nearby that are open later but not walking distance.It’s a very nice and spacious VRBO. Clean and well stocked.The only reason I gave it four stars is because Stowe is lame. Also, the TVs are about half the size they should be. Spend the extra 150 and double the size of the TV. You can barely see it from the bed.

Weekend stay

Great experience from start to finish. Owner was responsive and very helpful. The unit was perfect for our needs for a recent ski weekend. Plenty of space both in living areas/kitchen and bedrooms. We had 6 adults and could have easily accommodated a couple more. Location was great. 2 min walk to town and shuttle for bus to Stowe mountain. Bus took approx 20 min to ski area with easy schedule to and from. We would definitely stay again

Convenient spot in Stowe Village

This is a really nice spot in Stowe Village. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the bedrooms were very comfortable, the furnishings well-done, there is plenty of space - it's a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Just a quick note that there are a lot of nice pieces of art in the house. As an FYI, there is a two-port ChargePoint electrical vehicle charger in the same parking lot as the condo - we were able to get a couple of charges over the weekend. Communication from the owner was great - not that it was needed, but she was very responsive.

Great Property!

Wonderfully comfortable, well-stocked home in a great location - easy walk to shopping, dining and enjoying all that Stowe has to offer. Great communication with host. Super easy check-in process. Private parking space in front of location and plenty of parking in the lot. We would definitely stay here again if we travel to Stowe in the future.

Perfect Accommodation in heart of Stowe

Lovely home, super well equipped, perfect location within a block walk to the Main Street of Stowe. The townhouse is very nicely decorated, very clean and spacious. Six adults were very comfortable and it was wonderful having a well equipped kitchen to prepare most of our meals in.

This was a great location and fabulous house for 3 couples. Loved being able to walk to shopping and restaurants. Only downside was quality of bed linens and pillows - they just seemed tired thin.

Perfect for wedding day preparation

Bluegrass in the Mountains was perfect for our family stay for our daughter’s wedding in Stowe. We had a great place to touch base with our guests as they arrived in Stowe, and the master bedroom was the perfect place for our daughter to have her hair and makeup done. Susan and Greg were excellent hosts and now my husband may have found a new favorite brand of bourbon!

I stayed with my family here for the solar eclipse weekend. The condo is beautiful! Very spacious with plenty of common room space to enjoy family time. Beautifully decorated and centrally located. It is only a few minute walk to downtown.

Beautiful townhouse, excellent location!

We spent 4 nights here to ski at Stowe Mountain. The townhouse is conveniently located in town near shops and restaurants as well as a shuttle that takes you directly to the mountain. The house itself is beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. We will definitely return!
