Perfect stay, couldn’t ask for more
Publié le 3 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWarm and inviting, the cottage is perfect. Gorgeous setting, quiet and peaceful but easily accessible to Stratford. Alan and Liz are wonderful hosts, giving me a warm welcome and making my stay a pleasure.

Great Escape

Week in Wilmcote

Hosts very helpful.Close to station for trains to Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham which we made use of. Sadly the village pub was being sold and wasn't up to much. Another owner my help with food.

As noted in let we don’t use the village pub, it looks as if my now be purchased by the village as it is as an asset .
We are lucky there are so many local other pubs locally, although not in walking distance.
As you say the train is ideal.
Do hope your journey to Scotland was not to arduous.

Excellent accommodation, lovely location
Publié le 12 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay at canal side cottage the hosts Liz, Alan and the adorable Bertie who always welcomed you at the gate having returned from a day out.
The cottage had everything that you required for a weeks stay including enough facilities to cook a roast dinner.
Beds super comfortable and the check in and check out times are generous 3pm and 11am. The hosts are onsite which is always nice. I’m sure we will return in the near future.

Another Great stay

Will always look to come back to the canal side cottage when we visit the area.

Gorgeous cottage

The very Best
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed in many VRBO’s in the last 20 years in Europe, North & South America plus New Zealand this is number one. Many have limitations that are only evident after arrival. The Wharf did not disappoint in any of those. Liz & Alan were charming owners living in a house on the property so often around for a chat. Highly recommended.
