Nice hotel but no cleaning after our first night. Very unpleasant and no real solution provided. Restaurant is nice but the food is not tasty at all even if i tried several meals. Location, parking, size of the room and bed great.

Le personnel est exceptionnellement sympathique, serviable et souriant. L’hôtel est très propre, les chambres sont spacieuses et la salle de bain aussi. Tout est parfait. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe, qui nous ont accueilli même tard dans la nuit. Nous reviendrons.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Hotel was clean and tidy . Our room was excellent and we enjoyed having our own tea making facilities. Hotel was in a lovely safe area.

Unfortunately I wasn’t very happy at all with this hotel! I arrived at 4pm and was told she wasn’t sure if my room was ready then went onto tell me I’ve got loads of people staying for so many nights!! Like I needed to know this then she had to go off to check if my room was ready she then came back and told me oh yes yours was the last room to be cleaned! I went to get a coffee in the bar and was asked if I was a golf club member replied no so it seems I had to pay more for my drink! It was a hot day but with a cold wind and as the day drew in it was a very cold evening. The whole building wasn’t very warm but my bedroom felt really cold. In the end I was uncomfortable so went to the bar and asked if there was any heating for my room. I was told they would deal with it but it would take a few minutes which is fair enough but then he came to my room with an air conditioning unit that only blew out cold air so I ended up sleeping in my tracksuit bottoms and sweatshirt. I went for breakfast the next morning and paid £21.95 which I feel was a lot. There wasn’t a great choice for the money compared to some hotels I’ve stayed in and the cooked breakfast I had was lukewarm and not that nice at all. Also the lady in the door followed me and made me pay before if even got a cup of tea! So overall I wasn’t happy with my stay, wouldn’t stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel. I spent the next two nights at Stratford manor paying the same rate and it was excellent.

Unclear and confusing policies and charges around dogs. Unhelpful/sarcastic staff. Nice location could be so lovely but our stay was ruined by extra charges and rude staff. I would not stay again and would not recommend it.
