Great space for all the family
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HotelsWe had a great stay at The Old Fleece. The apartment is spacious with everything you require and fairly priced for 2 bedrooms.
The living area was a great space for relaxing in the evening as we put our 2 year old to sleep in the bedroom.
The pub downstairs served us great food and we could even take pints back up to our room to watch the football.

The main road is noisy until the traffic dies down later on in the evening. The metal framed windows, even when shut, let through a high volume of road traffic noise. It was a period of unusually high temperatures by day and night when we stayed and the room we stayed in was in the loft space and therefore really warm and so the windows had to be kept open most of the time. This is by no means a complaint merely a note for other people who stay in the loft apartment who may not be as comfortable with a very warm internal environment as we were.

Stay in the loft
Publié le 29 mai 2023 sur HotelsHuge loft apartment nicely decorated and good facilities to use. As it’s a 200+ year old building the stairs are steep so probably not right for someone with unsure footing.
Great spot, just above a nice pub with very friendly and helpful staff on hand.
