Room was very comfortable but small.
Hotel garden lovely.
Drinks great.
Service was haphazard: often had to go inside to seek or give a food order, or request cutlery once food had come etc, as hard to flag someone down once we’d been seated/served. Some staff were welcoming, some were brusk.
Hotel in beautiful town and was a lovely place. Overall, would go again.

A disappointment!

The room was spacious but the shower door did not close, the safe battery was low and flies in the room when we arrived. There was a damp patch in the carpet at the entrance to the bathroom. The quilt on the bed was heavy for the time of year. The breakfast staff were not attentive, the food average. For the cost we paid, I would have expected better. This was not value for money.

This was an excellent small hotel that we would recommend to anyone. We wished we had more time to stay longer and do some local walks of the area. Food for our supper was excellent and the eggs benedict were perfectly prepared with a buttery sauce. The room was very spacious and well done and the full bathtub and separate shower was excellent too.

Perfect hotel in the Cotswolds
