Let's Celebrate - In-Laws 65th Anniversary, 90th & 85th Birthdays!
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwaySurprise celebration -- steak dinner and photos at my brother & sister-in-law's house on Friday. Family beach day on Saturday featuring Nana's famous spaghetti for Lunch. It was an amazing weekend! Lots of fun was had by all -- kids and adults!
Gemini House is an awesome property -- it has it all! Inside is beautiful, very spacious and full of character with spectacular Ocean views! The location is perfect -- it is situated between the Ocean and Bay with access to both! No shortage of outside fun, from sun-bathing at the beach to kayaking in the bay - water toys galore, from kids to adults!! A full place for all! Can't wait to go back!

Perfect home for a family vacation
Publié le 21 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOur entire family, ages 13 through 78 had an incredible vacation! The home is exactly as pictured and the description was spot on. The amenities at the house provide hours of entertainment and the location is perfect with a beach and river side. Al, our host, was great and we really appreciated the special touch to help celebrate our parents 56th anniversary. We’ve stayed at several homes over the years and we will definitely book again with Al.

Wonderful vacation at Gemini Beach
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy extended family ranging from toddler to 80-somethings absolutely enjoyed our week long vacation staying at the Gemini Beach house and the next-door house. The houses was generously stocked with everything we needed to have the best time, the house itself was super comfortable with a great layout, and the location was excellent with access to both a gorgeous beach on the Atlantic side and a super fun play area with dock on the lagoon side. Both the pool by the house and the pool on the lagoon side were loved by everyone. In addition to the house being so wonderful, everything we could want or need was closeby within short driving distance. Best of all, the property manager was super responsive answering any questions or addressing any needs. 10 out of 10 we'd recommend Gemini Beach for a wonderful vacation!

Family vaca

Silver fish spotted in the bedroom top floor
No removable shower head except in Master
Sand fleas but thats part of being at the beach
Bathroom vents need to be dusted/cleaned
However with those few con’s we still rate it a 5 star due to the endless amenities and tons of quality linens! The location was also great for us! We truly enjoyed our stay and we will do it again!

You make a great point in observing that none of the 4 showers in the home have a removable shower head. (I wish you had said something during your stay .. or even prior to your arrival .. I would gladly have had our on-staff plumber to you within 30 minutes, and a removable shower head working a few minutes later). In any case, thanks to your observation, I've arranged to have one of the showerheads made into a "convertible" during the next guest changeover. (Many features at our beach houses exist because guests like you asked for them).
Thank you as well for your observation about the exhaust fans in some of the bathrooms. They are the type of exhaust fans that can attract flying insects, which can get inside the light fixture. This often happens -- as it did with you -- during gorgeous Spring-weather days, and doors & windows are kept wide open to take in the cool coastal breezes. (I w you had called me on my private cell # that I gave you .. I would have been pleased to help explain the situation, and even sent some cleaners over to tidy up).
As to "silverfish" in the top floor: Sorry, can't take the blame for that one. Since that's a bunk-beds bedroom, & kids sleep there, sometimes kids will leave one of the slider doors ajar, and bugs get in overnight as a result. That's what happened to you : When cleaners arrived morning of checkout, they found the slider ajar by 1 inch.

Perfect Beach Vacation!
Publié le 26 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayIt is so close to the ocean. We loved having our morning coffee and evening drinks just watching the ocean on the front porch. Saw the dolphins every day. Pool on both sides was amazing! Our guys fished from the dock on the river side every day! Master bedrooms were on the main level which was so good for us seniors. Gemini Beach was so perfect!

Most amazing vacation property

They have thought of everything and have everything and anything you could think of, may have forgotten or simply didn’t think of. Steps from the ocean, private river front and dock. Basically, it was a small piece of heaven perfect for our family vacation! 1,000/10 rating. We will be going back!
