The game room is perfect for raining days or for the guests that don't want to do the outdoor activities. We really liked the fact of how secluded the house was. Highly recommended!0p

Family Gathering
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIf you have a large group looking to get together in a beautiful part of the country, this is the place for you. Plenty of room with 6 bedrooms and easy access to a fantastic beach. The beach made our 2 year old grandson's day which allows small children to get in the shallow water or just play in the beautiful sand. The owner is responsive, flexible, and will do everything possible to make it an awesome stay.

Amazing location

The house was great, but the location and beach were absolutely amazing. Very quiet and private. The beach was one of the nicest we’ve been to in the US. The sand was so clean and soft. We had a lot of fun in the game room and just relaxing on the deck. Fred was a great host…responded quickly and friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Lake House

The trail to the beach was manageable but not if you have mobility issues. The renters next door allowed a member of our group to use their beach access.
The property manager was super responsive when we had a few minor issues the on the first day there. Immediately responded to questions. He offered us free kayaks for 2 days of our stay for the inconvenience. That was very generous, and we used them to kayak to a shipwreck just off of Cave Point.
Being at the end of the road made for a very quiet stay and great access to Whitefish Dunes State Park trails. We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the firewood. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 teens. The lower level game room was huge hit. Glad we took advantage of the linen service with a group our size.

Great location!
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was nice and spacious for our group and had all the amenities mentioned. The house is secluded and very private and the beach was absolute perfection. The property manager was extremely responsive and took good care of us. Three small items that I would have changed:
The basement seemed to have an issue with bugs in the bathroom and a distinct damp odor in the two bedrooms.
While the beach is just as close as described, it is through woods and up and down tricky terrain requiring you to hold on to trees to travers. If you have small children that need to be carried or elderly in your party, it will be a problem. The property manager did offer us up another alternate route which was greatly appreciated, but was only available because the other house wasn't rented that week.
This one is minor, but the lock instructions didn't work for us upon arrival or departure. The property manager came right over to let us in though, so I think just updating the instructions might help.

Terrific Beach

Overall, it was a pleasant stay with lots of different options for the family. The best part was the beautiful, private beach.

Publié le 16 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThere was so much space for our multigeneration family vacation. The whole family loved the beach and the well appointed game room. The kitchen/family room was so roomy. We're already thinking about coming back for the fall colors and more fishing in the creek. The property manager was so timely with answers to questions.
