Wow, this was a great stay. There wasn't anything extravagant that made this such a good stay, but it just seemed like every time we turned around there was a nice little touch that we didn't expect.
The apartment was exceptionally clean and well stocked for any cooking materials. There was a coffee maker and grinder and even fresh beans to grind if you wanted. We made a few meals while we were there and there was even a grill to use on the deck. The picture makes it seem like a small deck, but it's a good size with a patio table on it.
The bedroom had two queen size bed and we didn't feel cramped at all in there (2 adults, 2 kids). There is a wall mount AC unit that kept the apartment cool without a problem as well, but we turned it off and opened the windows when it got cool enough at night.
Wifi was a non issue for us. Were connected if we wanted to be and streaming was fine. It's a good thing too as once you get away from the property, cell service is pretty spotty, but while in the apartment, not an issue with the wifi.
Adam was an amazing host. He said hi to us and spent as little or as much time with us based on us. They have a great fire pit and one night our family made smores and invited him to join us. It was a great time hearing about the area and his stories. His two dogs are absolutely wonderful. My daughter sometime is nervous around dogs(even after having a lab ourselves), but these were the nicest little dogs, and two hours in my daughter was attached at the hip to the one dog and carrying her around like a doll. Absolutely wonderful. I don't want to ruin the surprise, but they have chickens. They stay out of your way but my kids absolutely loved that. Adam let my daughter feed them and she had to check on them every day to say hello. It was a highlight for her for the trip and I had to check her pockets to make sure she didn't have one in her pocket to take home.
There is a sand bottom at the end of the dock that the kids could play at. It was a little over 5' and was great to be able to go out and play. I swam from there a few times during our trip.
It was ~10-15 minutes to Egg Harbor, but the drive was easy. We always stay in Egg Harbor and didn't feel like this was too far south to still get to all the places we usually go (Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Bailey's Harbor). We got to Bailey's Harbor in less than 20 minutes for a Kayak Trip.
Great location and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
