Avis Mandragora Hostel

We had a horrible stay here. We arrived with a night bus at 7AM, thinking it would be fine since they advertised 24 hour reception and check-in from 7AM. There was no one there and we had to rattle the doors for 25 minutes only to wake up a guest to let us in. They couldn't find our booking in the system, but offered us a mattress in the lobby.. After a while the guest finally got hold of the owner, and they offered us a backup room as our room was being "cleaned". When we finally got the room it had hairs all over the toilet and shower, and the towels had stains on them. We tried to complain to no prevail. The whole place was smelly and dirty, and there was no receptionist to see in our entire three-day stay. They also advertised daily maid service which was another blatant lie. We had an overall horrible stay at this host and would advise anyone to avoid at all costs.
