Family Getaway

Pros:
Quiet neighborhood
Clean house
All appliances work
Easy check in and check out
Close to town
Cons:
Upstairs loft didnt have blinds so the sun would wake my son up early.
Hot tub wasnt allowed to go above 92 which was not very warm.
Front door could use a curtain or some blinds as the setting sun came directly through the front window and made sitting at the table for dinner near impossible.
Small issue, but no tissue boxes were available so we used toilet paper instead.
Was hoping to plug a night light in the upstairs bathroom but the outlet was right in the corner and couldnt be utilized.
Overall we really enjoyed this stay as a quiet get away and if I could give it a 4.5 I would. We like to stay in secluded cabins and we were unaware this was in a neighborhood and had neighbors directly behind and front porch sitting had us looking at the front neighbors house. This house was spacious and very comfortable to stay in. My kids especially want to return some day and we hopefully will!

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your experience was not 100% positive. However, I have to disagree with some of your complaints. If you had requested a secluded property before you reserved I would have informed you about the neighborhood setup. The property is surrounded by trees, and the closest neighbors are at least 200 yards down the hill on the other side of the road leading to the Quail Hollow. The back yard has a privacy fence where the hot tub is located.. The hot tub is set to a certain temperature but can be adjusted to whatever temperature you need.
Furthermore, if you were missing paper towels you should have contacted me right away. I would certainly have provided a new supply as mentioned in our rules that were sent to you before your arrival. But as far as I remember I checked all supplies and personally replenished paper towels in the kitchen. There were almost two rolls there when I checked on everything.
It is hard to understand that the afternoon sun would bother you at the Dining Table because it is on the back side of the building and the house is surrounded by trees. This issue has not been reported to me before by anyone else.
I do apologize if not everything was according to your expectations, but as I mentioned some of your dislikes could have been eliminated if you had mentioned them before your arrival or contacted me once you were at the property.
