We had to fill 3 Britta's to use to make ice cubes, no ice maker on fridge. The fridge filter had to be replaced.

At Sun Peaks there are extra minerals in our water system. Due to this we have provided filtering for water which improves taste and is better for the coffee machine as well as our French press. This also ensures better taste with making ice cubes and fresh water. We consider our Morrisey Chalet “modern rustic, not tired. Many guests have also expressed this sentiment during their stay. With this in mind, over the past five years we have updated the following items at Morrisey Chalet: new refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, leather couch, bedroom furniture, reading chairs in each bedroom, carpet in great room, BBQ, outdoor bar table, bar stools, dining table and chairs, two very comfortable sofa beds, coffee tables, soundproofing, extra folding chairs, vacuum, two televisions, shower systems, sheets, pillowcases, and duvets for all beds, memory foam additions to mattresses in the four bedrooms, bookshelves with extensive book, CD and DVD collections, dining chairs with cushions, outdoor lounge/reading chairs, LED lighting, mountain pictures and paintings on all walls, dinnerware, high end pots and pans, and many new kitchen utensils.

We stayed here for a tournament in Kamloops- nice to have the space (top bedroom looks like it has a separate single bed through the bathroom in one of the pics but it’s all in one room) only downer for us was the drive back and forth to town but the home was awesome and in walking distance to sunpeaks for biking, golf or dining etc.

Excellent work/play property

The house is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Easy ski-in access. The home had plenty of space for 8 adults and a very good variety of sleeping accommodations. Kathy was quick to respond to our inquiries.

Great place with very responsive host

We had a great time in this spacious and open home. Owners were available to answer questions promptly. Great for our family gathering, well stocked kitchen, hot tub, games, shuttle to village and ski right back to this wonderful house…all we needed. Would definitely like to stay here again.

Excellent set up and location for two families

This house has a great setup for a large group or family for sleeping, dining, and socializing. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of room for ski storage. It is on the bus route or an easy ski out.

Home with a beautiful view

Perfect home for our family vacation. We hadn’t been together for 4 1/2 years due to covid and the chalet was wonderful home base to create many family memories. We loved the Christmas tree!!

Pete t place for our group of friends on a mountain bike trip !

Perfect place for our bike trip. Lots of room a hot tub that was perfect at the end of a long day in the bike park and use of the garage for our bikes ! Highly recommend

The Morrsey Chalet Johnson Get Away

We loved the location. We were within walking or bike riding distance of the amazing village. We were a family of 14 gathering for a 40th Birthday Party and summer getaway. The chalet suited all our needs. We found the open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen were very accommodating for our party's size. Lots of books and games to entertain the kids The bedrooms were accommodating, with nice linens, pillows, and down duvets. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you Harold and Kathy

Sun Peaks is Great!

We were two families, 4 kids and dogs for a 5 day adventure on the Bike Park and Lakes at Sun Peaks. The home had everything we needed, was clean and ready to go at Check-in. Harold and Kathy have a great home, on a quiet street, 5 minute bike ride to the lifts. Thanks for a fantastic stay… absolutely recommended.
