I booked and paid for this hostel, only to arrive and be told that my room had been given to someone else, and that I must have booked a male dormitory by mistake. Being a woman, I obviously didn't do so. After confirming that I did, in fact, book a non gendered dorm, and that I'd paid, the manager found somewhere else for me to stay for the night.
After all the trouble it took to actually find the place, this was incredibly annoying. Even worse is the fact that I was not the only one this happened to on that day. When I arrived at my new hostel there was another girl who had the same problem, and was also sent to the new hostel.
At least they were kind enough to drive me and my luggage to the next hostel. However, I was to return to Nreem the next day. So, they told me that after I'd left for the day, they would pick up my luggage and bring to to Nreem so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I confirmed this the next morning with the hostel I stayed at.
When I arrived at Nreem that night, I asked at the counter if it was there, and was told it was. Yet, low and behold, when I arrived my room, my luggage wasn't there. Incredibly annoying. So I trudged back down the 3 flights of stairs to let the staff know. They were very apologetic and went to retrieve it for me.
The rooms were reasonable, and the place very modern and clean. But it was definitely not worth the hassle, disorganisation or the price tag. Would not stay there again.
