Beautiful property
Posted Oct. 13, 2024 on HomeAwayBeautiful property. Stay was interrupted by Hurricane Helene. Host communicated well and was gracious in the midst of a challenging situation. Hope to get to stay there again.

Relaxing vibe
Posted Sep. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayBeautiful rustic home, sprawling property, plenty of amenities, and creekside access. Wonderful mountain-esque retreat with great communication with the host. Our family truely enjoyed our stay.
Full disclosure, second bathroom was in a separate building with a washer/ dryer and TV, which my husband absolutely loved.

Great cottage!
Posted Aug. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayWe loved The Cottage and the surrounding area. Very quiet and peaceful. The creek was beautiful and we loved sitting by the creek and reading. We made a trip to Bravard NC, short ride from the cottage. It is a pretty little town and worth visiting. Loved our stay!!

Property is dog friendly with lots of area to walk and enjoy the surroundings. Melanie is a great host responding immediately when tried to notify her. Peaceful
Posted Jul. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayI can’t say enough about this property! Everything was just as the listing described but the photos don’t do it justice. The creek is so close to the house! We drove up to the parking area for Twin Falls which is very close and enjoyed the beauty of the falls. We relaxed in the creek for hours and enjoyed the screened in porch at night. All of the solar lights around the property are so pretty at night. Home was super clean and the creekside bedroom bed was super comfortable! Definitely will revisit in the fall!

Relaxing and pretty place to stay

Relaxing stay, enjoyed the peace and quiet!

Summer retreat
Posted Jun. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayWhat an excellent retreat this home is. We spent most of the time on the screen porch listening to the creek. It's a short hike to an amazing waterfall. The kids enjoyed splashing in the creek. Highly recommend.
