Depressing 2.5-3 star hotel : NOT a 4-star!

Rooms look and feel like a depressing 80 year old couple's appartment in the 1970s.
Walls and windows are paperthin in this very cheap building, so expect waking up with the birds from the backstreet alley in the morning.
Nothing was on par with a 4 or 4.5 star hotel.
This classification should absolutely reevaluated since it's a shame for real 4-stars to be compared to such a cheap and ugly place.

Stayed at a studio executive room and was pleasantly surprised to find the room with cooking and laundry facilities. Plus we are able to see the sea (not entirely but a small slice) from the balcony. The room is spacious and neat when we arrived, staff are friendly and thoughtful too so plus points for that!

Hi Jeanne,Yes the Studio Executive offers a great price for Ocean Views on the Esplanade in a self-contained apartment. The Studio is a Hotel Style room but incudes a kitchenette & a washer/dryer. A great room to have a perfect holiday in Mooloolaba. Friendly, comfortable and excellent location. The property is ageing but that didn’t affect our enjoyment of the facilities offered.

Refurbished room was excellent. Loved the decor and bathroom. Always stay at the Landmark when we come to mooloolaba.

The property was jn an ideal position, everything in Mooloolaba was walking distance. Parking is great, safe and easily accessible. We did have a major issue twice with the air con and had to change rooms mid stay which wasnt ideal. Staff handled it well, seems like its a known issue.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years. On this occasion we stayed 2 nights & requested a high floor which was accommodated. We received a text message letting us know our room was ready early which was much appreciated. Location is perfect- close to beach, shops, restaurants & surf club. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was adequate for 2 people but would be quite cramped for a family. Ocean views are amazing & we will definitely stay again. Thank you

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and the room was comfortable and clean.
Would definetely stay here again!

Dislike -I bed room Apt. was small. all rooms were.
Rooms irregularly shaped -nothing normal-
a rabbit warren
Wouldn.t stay again in a 1 bedroom there
