Lodging are old but comfortable. Bathroom could do with a revamp.

Everything was really good.the children like the pool.you have everything in the cottage except the network and wifi

For where the property was in the national park area, some of the limitations were expected, like it was very isolated and dark (due to low lighting requirements in the park). It would have been nice for the restaurant and bar to be open on weekdays instead of just weekends, since that was the only place to get food anywhere nearby without crossing back over to the south shore. The convenience store in the resort was nice but a bit overpriced. The room was nice but there were too few outlets. Also my tv remote didn't work, and I never figured out how to work it on my stay. The reception was not possible to reach after hours with any inconveniences or questions, so I wouldn't give it a 10/10 for service.

We love our proximity to the National Park and the wildlife visitors our guests get to experience. New owners took over in Aug 2021 and have a huge undertaking to improve the facilities. I have made our observations known to our Maintenance, Projects, Dining and our General Manager. Hopefully you return soon and see some of our improvements in place. Beautiful stay with the kids, was so lovely and peaceful. Only down side was there was only a 2 seater couch in the lounge room with 5 guests this wasn’t ideal. Would stay again :)

They don't tell you that you need to take a ferry to access this property, and the ferry costs $10 each way. So not an ideal place to use as a base if you are wanting to see the Sunshine Coast. Also, meals not available all the time, so be prepared to rough it a bit. When meals are available, they're great.

Hi Catherine, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Noosa North Shore Retreat. Our website highlights the river ferry crossing however Expedia does not have anywhere we can highlight this for our guests unfortunately. Almost all of our accommodation choices have full kitchens except for our Motels which only have minimal facilities available for cooking. For any guests staying more than 1 night i would suggest our 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom choices. These are more comfortable and better suited if you are having to cook while on holidays.
