Wonderful beach cottage getaway
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwayI have been dreaming of an on-the-beach stay since I was a kid, when my family used to make annual Holden Beach trips. Back then we also rented a small oceanfront cottage. Although that home had no air conditioning back in the 80s, Becky Ann reminded me so much of it. A simple, comfortable, clean cottage where you can relax and enjoy the beach and the view. We so enjoyed our stay and the memories made. Highly recommend!

Loved relaxing on the back porch just a few steps away from the surf!

Definitely needs some upgrades for the price point
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe all know you pay for the location. The bathrooms were great. Everything else needs to be updated.
It was good but this house has roaches. My granddaughter stepped on a pretty large one early this morning in the bedroom and there was a dead one behind the door in room with twin beds.
Kitchen blinds just fell when trying to close them and the plastic piece on the light fixture in the kitchen fell. Not sure if we would stay here again considering the price we paid.

Hi Elaine, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-The house is regularly sprayed, most recently on 6/14. The bugs seen were palmetto bugs, common in the South, which come out to die after spraying.-The blinds and light fixture pieces were reinstalled, the light fixture likely blew out when both doors were opened.-The Becky Ann is 65 years old with several updates as well as some character, but some features (like hardwood floors and wood panel walls) remain original, as shown in online pictures. In the past year, we’ve replaced all the catwalk wood and beach-side deck wood. The bathrooms and AC unit were remodeled less than 3 years ago.Thank you for sharing your review. Your feedback assists us in understanding our guests' perspectives and improving wherever possible

Anniversary trip!

We used to own beachfront here so it always feels like home. Beach access was great & we enjoyed the back porch. King size bed was great. Loved the old charm with heart pine walls & ceilings

Great location
Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved this cute little cabin. The location was unbeatable and we spent most our time on the porch staring at the ocean. We’d definitely book again, the house had everything we needed to cook & enjoy the long weekend.
