I’m a solo female and I stay in all kinds of places. This one I don’t recommend to other solo females as it’s not a great spatial arrangement for your privacy. Please know the basic room option is in the reception/dining area and your bathroom is shared with anyone using the kitchen and also the security guard hangs out here too. I asked for a room farther away from the front door but they refused. Maybe they were full but attitude is everything. Breakfast was poor, and I regretted eating it later because food in Surabaya is so darned delicious. I think this place is fine for solo men and if you have upstairs room with private bath it’s probably also fine. It’s quite far from downtown and local area is not so appealing at night. Better budget options exist with more friendly staff who speak English.

We apologize for this incovenient. There are many solo women travellers stay comfort with us also. There could be miscommunication by different language and limited of our space. All rooms located at 1st floor. 2nd floor for long term and full. the room you reserved, single shared bathroom, located front public facility. we also have ensuite rooms.
We have 2 breakfast choices. bread with egg. and local food, all.with dessert. the menu of local food is different everyday. some people may not like, the others like even love it.
