The down side was the upstairs neighbors were up and banging around, moving chairs and talking starting at 4:30 am each day, and there was a barking dog outside during the middle of the nights. I relayed all this to the owner and she said to reach out to VRBO regarding some type of refund or discount. We left after 2 nights because of not a lot of sleep because of noise above and the dog

I’m so sorry about what you said because you told me about about the neighbors ‘noise( no one in 4 days has never complained about it) only after the second time it had happened and you had already decided to go away. If you had told me after the FIRST time it had occurred, I would have called the guys and tell them not to make noise at the time they had to wake up to go to work. In fact as soon as you have said me about this, I contacted them explaining what you told me, and the problem was solved.
I am really sorry because in the last message you wrote me you underlined that it wasn’t my fault and that the apartment was so nice,so I think I don’t deserve the 2 stars you gave me.
About the fact that you wrote that the apartment is hot, nobody in 4 years has never complained.
About the refund , I offered you to stay in another period for the nights you hadn’t used ( even if it wasn’t my fault).
And this you hadn’t mentioned in your review.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful town in a fantastic region
Publié le 2 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed a week in this comfortable and welcoming apartment. Our host, Anna, is super kind and communicative. We found a nice bottle of wine and drinks and snacks in the apartment on our arrival and later in the week a ‘colomba’ (Easter bread) at the door. We had a problem with a smoke alarm that would not stop and she came as quickly as possible to fix it. The apartment is in the middle of the lively medieval centre with very narrow streets (I was happy that we rented a small car). Sutri is lovely and has all the shops and restaurants you need, without being touristy. In fact the entire region of Tuscia feels like an undiscovered gem full of culture and nature. I highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Anna!

The Goose House Sutri
Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur host “Anna” was wonderful! Although we never met she was quick to respond to emails and provided great recommendations for the surrounding area. There was a bottle of wine on the kitchen table when we got there as a welcome gift. The Goose House was very well furnished and supplied. We had coffee and plenty of choices for a nice breakfast in the morning before. I loved the area and would definitely come back to stay in the Goose House again. Thank you so much Anna!

Newly refurbished very comfortable the bed was very comfortable Piazza was very close by. Anna was very helpful with our needs. Beautiful property that we recommend.
