Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home was so clean, and well laid out. The beds/bedrooms were comfortable. The property manager was easy to talk to and get ahold of. The pool was also clean and a good temperature. Also, the price was totally reasonable. Would love to come back!

Comfortable Home
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHome is decorated very nice & is very inviting. It is close to town (driving distance), wineries & other activities. If you just want to hang out at the house, the outdoor area & the pool during the summer is great.

Solid stay
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, this is a comfortable stay in a great location. Updated decor and furnishings, but needs a facelift. The pool and patio drive us to choose this vacation rental in the Amador wine country. There were a couple small hiccups with check-in. The house cleaner was still cleaning about 90 minutes after the 3:00 checkin time. There were no dish cloths and when communicated, we returned from an outing to find a lone dish towel had been delivered to the doorstep. The back yard was overgrown and the pool cleaner didn’t appear to work.
We didn’t expect anything super fancy, but in a home this age that is used as a vacation rental, the cabinets in the majority of the house have yet to be updated.
That said, the beds were comfortable and it was a pleasant stay.

A gem in Gold Country

Bad communication with owner. First night sent email asking about TV situation and never got a response. Few they are not really ready to host. No coffee, tea or welcoming treats at all. It’s located in wine country - how about a complimentary bottle of wine and suggestions for tours?!? I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and ALWAYS had something like this. It’s a 2 bathroom house and there was one spare roll of TP in each bathroom and partial role on the holder in one bathroom and actually no TP holder in the other bathroom. No back rolls of TO or paper towels. Pool hadn’t been cleaned so we didn’t use it and backyard hadn’t been mowed when we arrived.

Sutter Creek

Traffic on the main road heading into Sutter Creek does not safely make it walkable. It worked well for 4 adults. We dealt with some “summer ants” but enjoyed the outdoor area and pool.

Sutter Creek cozy cottage
Publié le 8 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is ideally located within one mile of Sutter Creek downtown. It is a quiet neighborhood and the property is Pottery Barn cute! The only issue was the lack of a propane grill (which was shown in the listing). There was a charcoal grill but we had to purchase charcoal and a lighter, plus it was left full of ashes. Furnishing and decorations not as pictured but satisfactory. Kuerig coffee maker, but no traditional coffee maker ( we brought ground coffee). Had to use French Press (little difficult when making coffee for 4). Would probably stay again with a few improvements. It is truly a great location for Sutter Creek.
