Nice hotel, terrible breakfast
Publié le 30 janv. 2018 sur HotelsThis hotel is well situated near a large shopping center and a metro stop. Also, there are nearby bus stops as well. The hotel itself seems to be well-maintained and the room is mostly comfortable. I say mostly because it always seems so hot in the rooms, even in the dead of winter. I always have to ask for a fan to offset the heat. I adjust the thermostat, but it doesn't seem to help. The breakfast buffet that was included with my stay is mostly terrible; it's VERY Chinese/Asian style. One small toaster with two slots for everyone to share, the eggs are cooked in a lot of oil (to be fair, they do have boiled eggs as an alternative), not enough fresh fruit, etc. I usually bring my own juice and milk because what they offer is dismal (powdered milk maybe?). Otherwise, everything else is nice.

Good location, fine hotel
Publié le 28 mars 2017 sur HotelsThe Holiday Inn Express is a fine hotel. Their breakfast could be a little more international flavored and their rooms need a little sprucing up (stained carpet, faulty showerhead), but it's in a good location and the staff is generally quite friendly.

No heating!!

Contre : Provide better customer service to suit individual needs
There was no thermostat for heating in the room. Hotel wouldn't turn on heat during Spring time and cannot provide a space heater or other alternatives! Very Disappointing!!
