Really close to the centre of this wonderful town was able to rest on my midway journey walking Peddarsway. Enjoyed the area and the pubs.

Love the location, walking distance to many shops and the market on Saturdays. Breakfast is pleasant, lots of choices and happy to accommodate.

Awful nights sleep.
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsVery dated stuffy rooms. Fan provided but no plugs by the bed so had it to sit on a ledge in corner of the room. Beds soft and old, pillows hard. Poor nights sleep.
The bathroom was poor with old shower curtain and stained toilet bowl.
Breakfast was hot and fresh but coffee was awful.
Bar was closed before 10 and only serve food till 8:30.

Heavy to open room door, large chip in bath enamel, no usb sockets, no air conditioning.
Friendly staff.
The whole block needs a make over, take out bath and fit large low rise shower tray (bath not good for access). Dark brown wood is oppressive.
Air conditioning a must these days.

Staff went over and above to accommodate when I asked for things like a wall plugin converter, an iron.
Only complaint was having to pay for the continental breakfast. There wasn’t much there so I don’t even feel like it should have cost the 10p.
