Gutes Hotel unweit des Atlantiks
Publié le 1 oct. 2017 sur HotelsDas Hotel liegt etwa 300m vom Atlantik entfernt. Die Autos stehen sicher auf dem Hotelgrundstück hinter einem Rolltor. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und gut ausgestattet.

Inexpensive convenient hotel

From the friendly service, the cleanliness of the hotel to the wonder breakfast spread are all reasons why we aren't already planning our next trip to Namibia Swakopmund where we would love to stay at Prost Hotel again.

Excellent for the price

Pour : Pretty room; very convenient location.
Contre : Soundproofing.
Emplacement : Tommy's Living Desert Tours. Don't book another one; a few get very aggressive with delicate desert creatures and are not environmentally sensitive.
Clean, comfortable, attractive room for N$550, which is a lot less than the higher-end places in town. The location is good; very central with the beach and most of the good restaurants and grocers right near by. A good variety of hot and cold dishes at breakfast. A few minor complaints: the room advertised as 'with view' in fact looked out on a well-traveled sidewalk at ground-floor level -- so anyone walking by had a view into our bedroom unless we kept the heavy curtains closed; noise from the hallway was somehow amplified, and fellow guests were not considerate about indoor voices; and the breakfast room acoustics likewise amplified sound, and fellow guests talked pretty loudly and often carried on conversations with friends two tables away. Not a peaceful experience, but the food was good. Overall, I recommend it unless you are sensitive to noise.
