Great stay in the Catskills

We would have thought there would be a bit more of opportunities to explore but Skilifts were still closed despite quite some snow … however, we need to come back in summer as we think this might be a complete different experience…

Such a beautiful property!

We are looking forward to coming back in the spring! It snowed overnight and we awoke to a gorgeous white winter wonderland view! Thank you so much.

Aesthetically beautiful house with several improvement areas
Publié le 7 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I were looking forward to a nice getaway for our mini-moon. The vrbo is aesthetically beautiful with plenty of windows, sky lights, and a fully-loaded kitchen. We enjoyed taking the kayaks into the water. The location is close to multiple trails, restaurants, and breweries. Unfortunately, the vrbo did not meet our expectations. The indoor fireplace was non-operational due to insurance reasons (there was a sign on the property) despite being listed and pictured on vrbo. There was a mix-up in cleaning schedule so we encountered the property manager trying to get into the site unannounced (which the vrbo owners did apologize for). Above all, my wife and I heard what we believe were mice in the walls at night. Taking a closer look around, we found small droppings in the kitchen. By the end of our three-night stay, we found ourselves happy to head home. I notified the host before putting the review up and they said they would address as much as possible as there are some things out of their control. Hoping this review helps patch up some areas of improvement.

Thanks for giving your feedback; we really appreciate it. As you can see, we have been hosting for over 5 years and have nine times super-hosted back-to-back guests. Their comfort is everything for us. Sorry for the cleaning person showing up there has been some goof-up with the check-out date . I am sure you don't mice in your house as much we do but its winter and there might be some that get it . Happy to inform you next day exterminator was called and they catch all and since then we didn't had any sign for mice at all.
Am sure we would love life to go the way we always wanted to go but LIFE GOT ITS OWN PLAN

A Piece of Heaven
Publié le 16 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were at In the Cloud for 10 wonderful days. Totally comfortable. Lovely, thoughtful interiors and accessories. The view from the bedroom was heavenly. Only problem was we're seniors and the kitchen was downstairs——but lovely.
