Weekend away.
Publié le 25 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed the weekend. We are all in our seventies. Something that we believe should be attended to is to have rails added to the front step. The steps are very steep. To us, it could have been very dangerous. It would have been nice to arrive and have coffee & Tea supplied at least for one day. We found the shower floor to be very slippery on 1st use. Overall, we give an 8/10.

Thank you for your review and we are glad you had a lovely weekend. We have been trying to keep the property as original as possible, but do take all suggestions into consideration.
Although we do not advertise that tea and coffee are provided as restocking is not currently part of my cleaner’s duties, I always ensure it is restocked and in the pantry when I complete a clean myself which I did prior to your stay and we have rarely arrived to find stocks empty between our own visits. Apologies that you were not able to locate it.

Beautiful old fashioned cottage

Well appointed with everything that is necessary, I’d like to especially comment on the cleanliness as it is so important - please continue doing a wonderful job at keeping the place spotless and well maintained. A couple of feedback points; the grounds could do with a better upkeep as the garden is overgrown and weeds detract from the beautiful setting, kitchen could do with a dishwasher even a small one draw one would be great there was also no dish rack for drying dishes very minor stuff. We loved the location and the space. Thank you for an amazing getaway!

Thank you for you review and we are so pleased you had a lovely stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the garden. It is a pride of ours and when we are not able to attend to the property ourselves, the lawns are regularly maintained by our gardener. The spring weather had encouraged growth in the gardens, but it was promptly attended to once it was brought to our attention. The positive is that the plants have also responded well to the spring weather and local wildlife is enjoying the flowering plants.
Although we dont have a dishwasher, the cottage offers a lovely place to relax and slow down, even if that does include watching the river and alpacas in the paddock while cleaning up from dinner. We do wish you had reached out regarding a dish rack for the sink area as there are 2 different types stored in the kitchen and imagine it would have been inconvenient without one.

Fantastic house
Publié le 6 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved this house it is gorgeous sitting up on the hill. It was very comfortable for our family and close to all the local attractions. Our host was very welcoming and there was great communication. Definitely recommend staying here. Being able to bring our dog and leave her in a secure yard outside was a bonus.

Swan Reach Stay
Publié le 19 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place to stay, dog friendly with plenty of space for them to play and fully fenced if you want to leave them to go out, very relaxing sitting on the front veranda watching over the Tambo river, Lovely old house with lots of character.
