Avis Large house, hot tub, designed with the guest in mind

As always it’s great to hear that our guests loved the house and the views. I’m very sad to learn though that you felt the gardening was obtrusive and the cleaning team made you feel pressured. I have thoroughly investigated now to see if there’s anything that we should do differently that would have avoided this situation for you. The gardening is a vital part of ensuring the acre of grounds are kept beautifully presented. The gardeners arrived at 10.24 and left at 12.49, we have 2 gardeners so that the grounds can be tended to in the shortest time possible to minimise any disturbance. The arrival time wasn’t an unreasonably early start, however I do apologise that I didn’t let you know in advance of them arriving mid morning. It is not possible to schedule gardening around check ins due to weather conditions and other work the gardening team undertakes for all their other clients, however, I will be discussing in future whether the start time can at least be moved to the afternoon, weather permitting. They are most upset that one of your party felt so conscious while they were there as they are the sweetest of people but they do understand how this may have felt for them and they apologise for any upset caused to you. I have spoken with the cleaning team and they have informed me that one car with 2 people arrived at 9.50 ready to start work at 10am and they chatted in the car between them while waiting for your check out. The rest of the cleaning team arrived at 10am and you were still packing up to leave until 10.10am. The cleaning team were watching curiously to see when they could start their work as they are on a tight schedule to ensure the property is left immaculately for the next guests arrival. I am really sorry that you’ve not had the same 5 star experience that everyone else rates me and the home as, I do hope this experience wouldn’t stop you from wanting to visit again.
