Charmant et typique
Publié le 25 nov. 2012 sur HotelsAccueil trés chaleureux par le patron lui même. Comme si on arrivait chez de vieux amis. Chambre cosy et calme. Plus proche de l université que du centre ville, mais les distances restent courtes. J y retournerai sans hésiter.

accueil très chaleureux, tous savaient que nous étions français et ont essayé de parler notre langue
chambre très cosy et breakfast très bon.

The Alexander is really well placed just 12 mins from the beach and it’s got good security and I was upgraded to a double room from a single which was a wonderful surprise. My room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed with nice white linen and a spotless bathroom with bath and shower and fluffy white towels. There was a big flat screen tv (I didn’t use it) and a view over the rooftops down to the sea. I slept very well. Just be aware as it is an old Victorian house that the sound proofing isn’t brilliant. I could hear a child running around and crying in the room above me early evening but I slept undisturbed. Very good stay for one night in Swansea as I was passing through. And Lynn the owner was very helpful and charming when we spoke on the phone (I booked last minute so she gave me the instructions to self check in - all v easy). Thanks.

Lovely, spacious room. Clean and tidy and well decorated.
Needed a mat in the bathroom as you get out of the shower. Very slippery floor when wet.

Publié le 17 févr. 2020 sur HotelsNedslitt gammelt og trangt..fraværende trykk og vann i dysj. Kun en nøkkel pr rom,manglende lyspærer og lysrør. Anbefales ikke. Det eneste som var positivt var prisen.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we are always making improvements to our services based on the feedback we receive from our guests and this is a great help specifically with the issue you've had with the issues during your stay. We understand that this is not a very good experience to any of our guests and we'll make sure the relevant manager is aware so this can be dealt with accordingly and make sure that this will not happen again in the future. On the other hand, we do have our office and emergency line open 24/7 and we're just one call away regarding these concerns and I believe we have upgraded your stay in order to compensate for this issue.
Despite these, we hope you visit Swansea again soon.

Visible damp problem. No check in staff - just a key safe. Noisy.
